Finally idiots accepted it but it's not going to be easy . Neil have changed. Though his heart is still the same which beats for his Mini and when mini with Neil he can win any number of battles

Yes could imagine SouNoor as MiNeil. Watching them perform such emotional scenes is treat same goes to romance also☺️ they are package. Like @Zalima always say Anjali know them in ,out literally🤣 and we can imagine them frame to frame and no one can write about MiNeil like Anjali does and that's he reason we can imagine them ,connect to them

yes its going to be difficult for them. as mini said their fight has just started. but atleast they are together in it.

but yes the way the touched my heart, nobody did. In fact now also whenever I try to write on any other couple it becomes difficult because of lack of better understranding...about mineil i can write in my sleep also🤣

Mineil have been very sepcial to all of us and they have indeed touched our hearts in very special way memories shall always stay and for us it's more tough 🤣because you have kept them alive through your brilliant write ups till now and we could imagine them throughout in all ffs frame by frame and those stories are going to stay in our hearts forever and ever ( just like mini says here ) and even when we see edits it's like ffs MiNeil such is the impact.

Chapter 34 All is not lost

"How is he? Any improvement?" Mickey inquired about Neil's health from Mini. A week ago he was discharged from the hospital and since then Mini was looking after him. Both of them hadnt talked much about their relationship, love but there was an unsaid agreement between them that right now Neil needs time to come out of the trauma of what happened that day at the concert, he needed time and Mini understood his state of mind right now.

"Doctors say that his body has healed but they dont know how deep scars it all had left on his mind. I dont know how to bring him out of that." Mini confessed as she tried to control her tears.

"Has he started talking?" Mickey questioned further.

"No, he just sits through whole day looking out of window like some lost person, like he is not himself anymore...I cant...I cant look at him like that." Mini answered and this time couldnt hold her tears as they flowed out of her eyes despite her protest.

"Hey! Mini, please control yourself. You cant break down like this. Who will take care of Neil then?" Mickey tried to console her.

"I think we already lost him. He is not the same Neil he used to be. Even when he was angry with me, he had some emotions, he somehow survived through it but now...it feels like there is nothing but emptiness inside him, a hollow in which he is slowly sinking. No matter whatever I say he doesnt reacts. Arya has been trying so hard to bring out some reaction from him but to no avail. In a desperate attempt she played guitar in front of him and sang that song which he written for me but all we got were his silent tears nothing else. It hurts....it really hurts Mickey to see him like that. It hurts even more than our breakup. I cant see him like this." Mini broke down in front of Mickey.

"Please Mini, you cant lose hope, you have to be strong. If anyone can bring him back then its you...only you." Mickey encouraged her.

"I am trying...trying." MIni sobbed.

"What about other band members? Have they changed their minds about disbanding?" Mini wiped her tears and asked about the other important issue.

"No, I tried my best to explain them. I also requested them to at least postpone the decision for sometime as Neil is not in a state to get involve in the legal paper work right now but they are not agreeing. They have already issued press statement regarding breaking up the band." Mickey informed.

"Its ok, we cant blame them also. We cant expect them to bear loss of name, fame and money because of Neil's behaviour. They have the right to move on." Mini shared her opinion.

"Its not about them breaking up is what bothering me. I understand they are free to go. But the way they have done it, they have made out a perfect opportunity of Neil's breakdown. Their timing, their planning, this issuing press statement and now they are bad mouthing against Neil in every press meet, every public platform...this shows that how selfish they have become. Its not just about Neil's reckless behaviour, it never was, they were always jealous of his popularity but I thought its all normal in every team to some extent, I never knew the hatred is running so deep that they will take such extreme steps. They have lost respect in my eyes. Wo achhe dost to dur, achhi team bhi nahi ban sake." Mickey shared his views.

"Its ok, you have to be strong too. Neil needs support from all his loved ones." Now Mini encouraged him.

Two more weeks had passed but their was little to no progress in Neil's condition. Mini's life had been set in the routine of taking care of him. She wakes up early, wake him up too, takes him for a stroll in garden, somehow manage to get him ready for the day, gives him his medicines, takes care of his lunch and dinner, in between she and Arya tries to talk to him, they include topics which would interest him, Arya plays guitar and sings for him. But he doesnt say anything.

Neil was sitting completely blank on the sofa chair of his room. Servants were doing cleaning and accidentally one of them pressed the tv button. There was news channel which was showing the clips from that day's concert. After days of being numb Neil finally reacted to the news as his eyes got fixated on tv. As the clip of him doing destruction on stage was playing on repeat, Neil started breathing fast. He became edgy as if reliving that trauma and finally the moment came when he had disgraced the stage by pissing on it, tears started flowing continuously from his eyes, his grip became stronger on the sofa arm rest, his knuckles turned white due to the pressure. He felt as if he cant breath anymore. Then came the reaction of his "friends", his band members which broke him apart.

"He was always like this, rude arrogant and a jerk. He never valued his talent and wanted to waste ours too." Bobby commented.

"He was always a womanizer, he had multiple relationships and he treated women like trash. He had even physically assaulted some, do some more digging and I am sure you will find women ready to file police complaint against him." Preet went a step ahead by mixing some lies and spicing up the truth.

"A man who cant respect the stage cant be a nice man by any definition. He is dishonest, reckless, attention seeker. Always been jealous of us, repeatedly tried to steal our limelight. The song that he claims were his own, actually we equally contributed to it but he never gave us credit." Jazz also supported Preet by distorting the facts.

Neil couldnt bear any more of it. He threw the remote and smashed it on the tv silencing it for good. He didnt know what to do, all which was suppressed for so many days finally came out erupting like a volcano. He came out of the room and found Mickey and Mini talking about the same topic.

"What are these people up to Mickey? What kind of allegations they are putting on Neil?" Mini asked.

"I know, I have been trying to explain them since long but its like they want to disband as soon as possible. They are pestering me to get the legal papers signed by Neil or else they will continue to spill venom against Neil." Mickey answered and then noticed Neil standing at the door.

"Neil, what are you doing here? Have you...have you heard what I said?" Mickey was shocked to see Neil there and so was Mini. As much as they wanted Neil to react but this was not the news they wanted him to hear.

"Yes....yes...yes I heard you...I heard them...our friends and I heard the people...the fans...I have failed them all, I have broken their heart. I am such a loser...they are right...I dont deserve their love or respect...what kind of a person I am? Music is my life, stage is the place where I used to really live but what I did...I disrespected my music also, I disgraced the stage...I...should have died...I dont deserve to live...I dont deserve anything...tum...tum dono bhi chale jao yaha se....akela chhod do mujhe...main kisi help ke layak nahi hoon...I dont need anyone..." Neil started saying frantically and Mini and Mickey were horrified by his state. They didnt know how to handle him.

Neil started throwing things, misplacing furniture, throwing away all his clothes from the cupboard as if frantically searching for something. Before Mini and Mickey could have understood anything, Neil found what he was looking, it was a small packet of white powder, some shots and tablets. Before anyone could have reached near him he shut the door of the room.

"Mickey, what...what was he doing? Whats in his hands?" Mini asked already dreading the answer.

"I think its his stash of drugs." Mickey concluded.

"Oh No, he cant take anymore drugs....he could over do it again, he could slip in coma, anything can happen to him, doctors have strictly advised against it....no...no we have to stop him somehow." Mini shouted frantically calling house help. Mickey on his own tried to break the door. After some 10 minutes when they finally managed to do so, they found Neil unconscious on the floor.

After few hours Neil woke up, doctors who came to check on him called Mini outside.

"He must avoid drugs at any cost if he wants to live. Do whatever it takes but you have to get rid of his drug addiction otherwise we wont be able to help. The medicines, the therapy all will only work when we have him drug free. I can suggest you some rehabilitation centers but please ensure he gets complete treatment." Doctor advised and left leaving prescription.

Mini wiped her tears and replayed the whole incident again in her mind. If all that trauma triggered his reactions, however extreme they were then may be positive news related to it will soothe his wounds to some extent. She gathered her phone, laptop, articles related to that incident and came in the room again.

"Neil, look what people have to say about that day's incident." Mini began.

But Mickey tried to stop her, "Mini what are you...?" Mini gestured him through her eyes to trust her and she continued.

"I cant bear it." Neil replied in weak voice.

"Why? You should face your fears na? Come on Neil Oberoi, you are not that weak." Mini challenged him.

Neil didnt say anything he just hung his head down feeling ashamed of himself.

"Chalo, main hi padhke suna deti hoon tumhe ki log...I mean tumhare fans kya keh rahe hain." Mini announced and started reading comments, articles etc. First she started with the negatives ones-

"Neil Oberoi, not a rockstar, but a big pile of shit."

"Melodramatic rockstar, these people can do anything for publicity, can even sell their soul to satan."

"Such a manchild...ewww!"

"Change your surname to shameless."

"No bigger sin than to disgrace talent and stage."

"Stop it...stop it...I cant...cant hear it." Neil cried closing his ears.

"ye to sirf aadhe bhi nahi hue...abhi to aur bhi hain bahut saare....thode aur sun lo." Mini announced but now started reading the positve ones however few they were-

"Years of suppressed feelings, emotional trauma can make you do things you wont ever do in your right mind. Neil Oberoi is sick, he needs help not your taunts."

"He is not a loser, it requires courage to accept your failures on stage in front of everyone."

"No matter what these other band members are saying against him but I still believe in his talent. The others are just f**king liars and opportunists."

"The man who can touch your heart with his songs and music can never be disgraceful towards stage."

"We need to hear him out before throwing mud at him. We all make mistakes at some point in our life, we all break down. Neil deserves a chance."

Mini finished reading the positive comments and saw Neil. He had calmed down. Though he was not normal yet but still there was some emotion in his eyes as if a tiny ray of hope, he has still not lost everything.

Mini read that emotion well and came to sit by his side, "Yes Neil, all is not yet lost. There is still a chance for you till your fans believe in you. You can move on from this Neil. Your music is with you, your friends are with you...I...I am with you...your love is with you Neil. I believe in you. If not for yourself, do it for us, so it for me. Fight it, stand up again....you can do it. All is not lost." Mini cupped his face and said all this directly looking in his eyes.

Mini's words kept echoing in his ears and he pulled Mini into a bone crushing hug finally venting out all his pain and frustration. He kept crying while making his hold on her even more tighter as if he will lose her again if he loosen his grip. Mini kept comforting him, rubbing his back, caressing his hair. She was crying too. It felt like after ages ice has melted between them. There was a hope that everything will be fine once again.

Finally Neil cried . This was much needed . It's his test ,mineil test now. They have to start everything from scratch. Though we are close to end of this story it's like begining now . Begining of their new life.
