I hope this is just to finally settle her dilemma of Shah parivar vs Anuj and just push him in his direction once and for all.

We are gearing up for one of those type of terrific scenes, which if executed properly will bring about a blockbuster.

2. Anu walked out of shah house

3. Anuj confessed his love to Shah's

4. This time it has to be Anu choosing anuj over every goddamn ritual of samaaj, in a way so majestic and grand that baa, vanraj and rakhi Dave would feel defeated! This time, Anu should once and for all quell his and Anuj's fears both.

When you put it that way... yes.

Anu's breaking down etc is OTT, for TRP perhaps. Because, if she went ahead and told Anuj " grow old with you.... " I would have assumed she has thought through this.

Even if you cut her some slack and say that her worries were after Kinjal's preg.... then why in the world did she confess again to Anuj that she will marry him ( not to forget the hug). Then Holi, desperately waiting for him, sensously applying colors on each other, holding hands etc etc. In fact, after she came to know she was going to be daadi, she even asked Anuj out on a date. What was she thinking then?

Baa's attitude towards her has always been this. The entire family's reaction when she decided to divorce was also similar. Ditto with Rakhi, and neighbors as well. So, my question is why is she surprised and breaking down now?

All said & done, I wouldnt want to see Anuj in angst or shed tears or even regret his assertiveness in this process. That is when I would feel his char was left intact (perhaps?)

There are quite a few reasons behind Anu's surprise, I think. You see, baa had gone all maang bharo once and tum shaadi karlo when Anuj went to live with Anu for a day. So even if there was disapproval for their relation, Anu was living in the mu that atleast their wedding would be blessed by baa.

Unfortunately, the daadi- shaadi nonsense cropped up. Now, yes Anu was well aware of samaj and all, but in that moment with the love of her life sitting right by her side, she felt confident enough to take the bull by the horns and said yes to the marriage. And if things had gone accordingly, Anupama would have been mentally prepared while mentioning marriage, to baa. But our hero's drunken outburst in the mohalla ended up putting baa in a spot, who then out of ( absolutely hypocritical) fear of society, manipulated Anupama by citing main mar jaaoongi.

Ask me, and I'll say that the 🐘 was in the room but Anu had been ignoring it's presence to keep her sense of peace, and simply bask in warmth of Anuj's love. But the bubble broke, and she was forced into a situation where she has to take an absolute decision.

And the most unexpected variable happened in the form of Anuj only. Anu wasn't expecting him to serve a ultimatum of his own so that's where her reaction has stemmed from ( and also makers like to show Anupama as someone who says things she never applies! So there is that too)

Answer is very clear to Anu. Anuj ko chodne ka sawal hi paida nhi hota. All she has to think over, is to how to break this news to her fam.

Pakhi ka line...koi sense he us ladki me?n baki sab Ka to kya hi bolna...anuj ko to nai chhodegi anu bas drama bht jyada lamba b na karde.
