Those days I used to enjoy Sairat fighting scenes even more than their romantic scenes cuz they had so much chemistry while shouting each other. Plus their acting was top notch. I could actually understand Virat's expressions/hurt while Sai dropped truth bombs one after another. Sai's character was fire, neither was she in love back then but she still made sure to give it back with interest to the best friends. Sigh nowadays can't even decipher Virat's feelings or whether he's still in love with Sai.

How ironic is that in that scene he got super upset at Sai for setting up that fake scenario with Amey even though he was fully aware of the situation. Here he actually lived with another woman and her kid for god knows how long and actually hurt Sai by keeping her in complete darkness. Yet she ain't allowed to express her hurt. Such a hypocrite.

Kaash koi V seh yeh puchta.

I dont understand why he keeps saying "sabr" and "trust". For how long and to what end?! He wants her to trust him when he doesnt explain why he is signing as another womans husband. he wants her to accept that he will keep going to see another woman/her kid without even explaining who they are and why he needs to help them. He wants her to just wait without any questions, expectations. As if she is a piece of furtniture with no emotions/feelings about the situation.

If roles were reversed, he'd NEVER have trusted Sai or been patient. Guaranteed.

And the scene when Pakhi enters and she asks him...what has Sai given you ? And he looks at Sai ...his look softens but he stays mum...she looks at him and tears fill up when he remains quiet, completely misreading his silence.

Those were the days ! The golden era of Ghum. Now its just a cheap knock off with messed up direction and disinterested cast delivering a lukewarm performance! They destroyed the kohinoor they had ! As ardent viewers, we feel so bad . Then how come the makers have no qualms about destroying their own baby - it’s beyond my understanding

I still remember that scene from Biwi no 1 when Karishma asks Salman after finding out about his infidelity how would he feel if she were to see another man and he actually raises his hand on her from anger at that simple thought. In KANK Preity too asks SRK would he have forgiven her if she had cheated on him and he doesn't reply. Such sexist attitude was almost normalized back then.

Dialogue writers should try to keep up with the times and write some hard hitting lines where Sai questions Virat would he have waited patiently to find out the truth if she were playing house with Aniket. Sai can still be in love and yet still show him the mirror, since we can't change the fact she is in love with such guy with backward thinking.

The fact that he lived with another woman, whatever his intentions, maybe, will never be addressed. Sai’s hurt was valid. It will never be addressed. I made peace with the fact

Thats so unfair though. How can they brush away her pain. V needs to realize he screwed up big time. This narrative we are seeing makes it so polarizing- V is mahaan, Sai is the one who is at fault, when thats SO not true! I really want him to think about how he'd have felt if Sai had claimed to be married to another guy- her dost ka husband, and had lived with him in a separate house and expected him to trust that she'd never do anything wrong coz she knows her maryaada afterall. Would he really be cool with it?! He couldn't stand not knowing all the details when she said she was going out without informing him- once to save his job/pullu's house for lunch....he needed to know it all. And he justified it saying he felt protective of her, wanted her safety, felt that it was his right as her husband/guardian. But he has the audacity to not just hide things saying "sahi wakt" but to hurt her in the worst possible way and trample her self esteem and then blame her for being impatient, immature, not understanding. Hadh hai.

But Amay fight was totally different It has both of them giving takkar to each other in terms of dialogue delivery and bringing those complex emotions into the scene. Both were phenomenal

I wish we get something like that in this track. It is very much needed for both Sai and Virat to tie up a lot of loose knots and complete the loop to move forward to the next phase. Otherwise it will look too superficial with no depth. Viewers will not be able to connect with them

Ladakh fight is my favourite cus it was when Sai spoke her heart out that everything audience felt. She was the voice of audience on the whole Virakhi dosti saga & Virat's hypocrisy. That's why.

It was such a good line , he was baring his heart out to her - but unfortunately, in the heat of the moment it did not get registered. I felt a lot of sympathy and my heart went out to him in this scene. And it was portrayed beautifully by Neil too . Gosh!! I miss the old Neil !!

I felt nada for him when he said that. He sounded like a hypocrite who had amnesia & forgot that he himself put conditions of deal marriage, I can never be your husband, you're just my responsibility etc. I'm commited to someone else for lifetime, then his pyaari cheez & pyaar/dosti slip up after Pakhi left all those initial behaviour after marriage, holding her responsible for driving Pakhi away from the house? He said that then cus his expectations from Sai grew faster as he got over Pakhi very quickly after their marriage & started falling for Sai...

Thats what made us all fall in love with these characters. They were so well written. Even when they were fighting, hurting each other, we loved them, felt sad for them, got us emotional. They somewhere touched us. The scenes were so well written, enacted, directed. So intense. Now even the happy sequence can’t draw that connect or emotion. The MiMo track is an example. It started off decently but became too sugary to digest. There may be multiple factors but eventually they have ruined it beyond repair. Everything deteriorated and became half baked, poor quality output with errors, bloopers and random illogical stuff being put together.

To build that same fanbase is mountain job nor do the makers seem to be interested in it. Where Sai, Virat and Sairat fans were more or less aligned and in sync and that together that was a huge fanbase which brought in that popularity. Now its divided and the bitterness on screen has spilled over. There was a time when this forum used to have such positive and healthy discussion even while critically analysing every aspect. Miss those days!
