My views on yesterday's episode - Page 5

Arohi - nothing much to say about her, TBH. Makers have decided to paint her black and have taken her to the extent where coming back is becoming more and more difficult. I mean, after a point, a person feeling remorse is pointless. The damage too much to undo. She is fast reaching that point. Her nature has always been selfish and impulsive. No denying that. I'm not upset with her drug overdose (or whatever it is that she did) You have personal issues going on, you have pills on hand, it's easy to give in. That's what she did. But suspecting that she might have run over somebody and running away from that scene - I have no words for that. None. And no remorse at any point. Her profession aside, that character has been turned inhuman. Not sure what the makers have planned for her but for me personally, there is no redeeming Arohi Goenka. She can be genuinely hurt and bleeding inside out and I would have zero sympathy for her after this point. And I refuse to see this character as a doctor going forward. Wearing a white coat doesn't make her one.

Akshara - I have no complaints on how she handled the situation during the drive. She did the best under those very trying conditions. She pleaded, yelled, screamed...she explored every avenue to get Arohi to listen. But the fear of what her sister ingested was overriding her and she gave in. Any family member would do the same. Get the person to safety, make sure your loved one is safe. That's what she did. But after that, her silence didn't make any sense to me. With Abhi - yes. Maybe she didn't want to worry him or she wasn't sure of his reaction at this latest Arohi stunt. Either reason is justified enough to keep her silence. My brother and my husband can't see each other face to face to this day. So I know this balance is difficult whether that person is your husband or lover.

But what about Kairav? Or Vansh? Someone! She suspects her sister has run over someone, now refusing to do anything about it and her answer is to keep talking to that sister? Tell someone. Go there and see who or what it was. For me it doesn't matter if it was Manjari or deer or a puppy. Fact is something did happen and she knows it's not a situation that can be handled by her alone. It's not like the PG exam or whatever gapla Arohi did before because all those involved money and / or Akshu herself. This is different. So once assured that there's nothing physically wrong with Arohi, that the meds didn't cause her any harm, she should have talked it out with someone. Her nature is such that she won't act unless and until paani sar ke ooper chala jaaye. Until she is pushed to her limit. It's not a trait that I like but I accept that that's how she is. Reactive rather than proactive. That is not the right approach all the time, is it? Not when a life might be involved over there.

Let us assume it was Manjari who got hit but she is merely injured. Would that make all this OK? The trauma Abhi went through as he searched for his mother, the time lapsed when she would have needed medical attention...

And if it was not Manjari and it's someone else then it's all OK? Does that make the situation better? Would Akshara breathe easy if it was a random stranger seriously hurt or worse instead of Manjari?

I know this is ITV and all will be well in the end but makers need to know where to draw the line when it comes to negative characters and the families that love them despite everything.

I have not watched today's episode yet. So all this is me after yesterday's episode and after reading Pooja's review.

P.S: I didn't like it yesterday when Akshu addressed Manjari as maa. Either you stick to aunty or maa. Uncle or papa. Don't switch to maa / papa when things get emotional or you need something from them and switch back to uncle aunty when all is honky dory.

Thanks for writing this Satya. It's very loving to read. Yes Aarohi has no redemption after that running away I totally agree with you. It hurts me so much to see that honestly. I think after reading people's reviews here I feel Akshara should also have not run on road because last time also her accident was due to same cause. And once again want to thank you for writing such good OS 😊😊

Doesn't matter what we think and analyse. At the end of the day, makers are going to show whatever they want and we gotta watch it or stop watching entirely. No point boiling our blood. 😆

And it's always a great and humble feeling when one wants to know and waits to hear your POV. So a big big jhappi from me to you for that. 🤗

Akshara

First of all I have always blamed Akshara when ever she was wrong. But in yesterday's episode I think she balanced things pretty well. She cannot be totally insensitive to her sister who is overdosed doing things that will kill them. Everytime it cannot be just her Love. She needs to strike that balance which she is doing from last 2 episodes. I would have been upset if she would have gone to Abhimanyu leaving her sister do another suicide attempt or crazy thing. She atleast texted him.A

Aarohi. I don't blame her for overdose as much as others are blaming though I agree suicide is wrong. Because Aarohi is the person who was shown who always needs attention. She wants to be best. Now she is getting ignored by everyone around her. The guy she wanted to win for herself hates her. She is not able to take that especially when are parents are not alive and she miss them as much as Akshara. And who says doctors cannot do suicide attempt. At the end of the day it's person's feelings more than profession. In temple no one except Akshara trusted her and that hurt her so much. Yes she needs Love especially when her sister is going through same customs marrying same guy

Now second thing is driving and running away hitting someone. That I cannot take because for me even if even ant gets hit it hurts me. I try not to hurt anyone in life intentionally and if I do say I'll correct it. So being a doctor she needs to save life's and not run away so I was very disappointed there

ABHI

This guy loves Akshara and Manjiri so much that can sense any issue with them. He kept his anger aside and was making sure they are ok. So I really again loved him in yesterday's episode
