The better plot would've been to first have Arohi be blamed for something she did accidentally. And then have her sabotage things deliberately out of anger at being unfairly blamed. But what a horrible track overall...

Yes they are on the road to destroying Aarohi in order to glorify the gutter couple.. Abhimanyu is the worst of the worst.. But the blind supporters of this self-righteous gunda are a level above.. The way he keeps blaming and threatening Aarohi reminds me of how Manish used to unfairly bash Sirat just bcz of her unfortunate background..and if the writers had any sense they would use that to develop the greyness in Aarohi's character, if they must make her grey, (because little Aarohi was witness to some of the most hurtful things Manish said to her mother), instead of showing her as just jealous and spiteful.. And you're right, if Aarohi hurts herself and abhira break up, the blame will definitely be Abhimanyu's but that goon will never accept it.. I can go with what his fans like to label as just "flaws" in his character which as the story develops he can be shown to work on and grow out of, keeping aside the sleep-inducing/ puke worthy love story of course.. ..but what is intolerable for me is his sanctimony and his gunda behaviour towards those he doesn't consider worthy of his time..I find that attitude hateful and those who think that that is the right way to behave, I find very saddening..you mentioned earlier how a lot of young girls form the fan-base and how twisted their thinking gets. I always wonder about that..even if they are just such teens and pre-teens, it's troubling the way their thinking is apparently developing, but also there are many young adults who have such a narrow-minded, intolerant, biased and partial attitude towards the characters that it makes me wonder if it's just a difference in perspective like Pretty said..the blue dress theory..or if it is indicative of some more damaging underlying problem in the mentality of the upcoming generation.

And ofcourse the way the writers of this show just casually deal with side characters, without any sensitivity and consideration is horrible..jab chahe lao, jab chahe mar dalo, start some track relating to them, leaving it in the middle, not giving them any respect as compared to the leads is horrible.. I don't think that was the case in the first generation, but from kaira's time this is what's been happening.

I don’t think I can watch this show anymore, not even in fast forward mode. I could (maaaybe) handle the toxic masculinity on display if the other characters were properly developed or the plot was well written (the movie “In The Company of Men” is a great example of that). Anyway my reason for coming back to this show no longer exists. And as for the current fandom, the less said about them, the better.
