You know I never watched Bridgerton somehow even though my niece kept recommending it to me.. It's something that would be just up my street.. But after Georgette Heyer, I can't stomach these contemporary Regency writers(except Judith McNaught, whose modern romances I loved, so put up with the period ones.. Nothing on historical detail, but the stories are great)
However, I decided to watch it seeing how enthusiastic Eka and Pretty were over it.. But now I don't know, if it's going to be like yrkkh season 3. Should I or shouldn't I?
I am sure you will enjoy it. Of course, it is very Hindi soap-y. But it is so much fun. Even though I haven't read the books, I am sure they have made so many changes in the show. It can be very lame but it is definitely not crap like hinid soaps. There is consistency, logic etc. And they do question stuff. With better writing, acting and everything else, it is damn pretty to watch.
There was a point I used to only watch stuff like The Lost Daughter. Now, I have found myself so exhausted and building up the nerve to watch something like that and look forward to watch something that doesn't really require a brain. Which is why I ended up watching season 3 of yrkkh and it was horrible. But Bridgerton easily does that job. 😅
Like I said, Anthony is a jackass but they make sure we don't hate him the way we hated jijaji. Jija is just disgusting. And Anthony is not shown as this epitome of morality and all. He is an arrogant and obnoxious man who just falls in love unexpectedly and kind of becomes nicer and also admits when he is wrong.
Edwina definitely comes across as someone naive but I like how she also becomes headstrong and handles situations.
I didn’t watch the episode so didn’t see Arohis hair do….but Arohi/ Kashmira is so much prettier than akshara/pranali ..and it’s so obvious in their scenes together ..so I hope they are not purposely giving her ugly hair dos so she doesn’t outshine the heroine..🤦🏻♀️…she usually looks like a pretty Angel 🥰…yes Abhimanyu seems to be on a witch hunt after Arohi….Blaming her for everything 😡Originally posted by: austen-eliot
I watched half of it.. Didn't like Arohi's hairdo but her dress was good. Arohi looks so pretty with the loose curls.. Yeh vamp hi lag rahi thi with that frizz.
But in the first half that I watched and also in yesterday's chappan bhog epi, SURPRISINGLY, AMAZINGLY Abhimanyu didn't look his usual revolting self.. He was just nice😳
What's his obsession with Aarohi? Bechari is keeping out of his way, so he should be happy. He has no idea she's involved in the accident, so why is he after her?
Moonlight I'm in your all memories
