I can answer #2 for you right now. I think it’s been fairly clearly established in a read-in-between-the-lines manner that Imlie’s completely over Aditya. In the scene where she confronts Aryan over the weather incident and he asks her if she still loves Aditya, she was about to clarify it when she got Aparna’s call and had to leave. No doubt the Tripathis mistreated her in the beginning, but they mutually bonded over time and shared memories, and became family. She’s come to love them as much as she loves her Amma and Dadda, and that’s why she’s always there for them. She’s exactly the same now with the Rathores too, whom she’s also come to love as much. Imlie is actually a consistent character in that aspect. She’ll cross any and all lines for the people she loves without giving it a second thought. The same has also been constantly mentioned in the show. People (including Aditya) are misunderstanding that she’s helping the Tripathis because she still loves and wants to be with Aditya. It’s actually the other way around. She loves the Tripathis and can’t bear their sufferings. Hence, she’s going so far to help Aditya, who is a central member of the Tripathi family and upon whose wellbeing the entire family’s happiness is dependent.Originally posted by: dazzling_akshi
I have to blame it on the writers, they have done some serious damage to the story but they can still comeback if they do some changes. There are so many things which are under developed or not clear still.
1. Why is AKT pursuing imlie without divorcing his wife?
2. What does Imlie think about AKT? Why is she so devoted to T family?
3. What has he done to stop the wedding?
I mean they have to build some tension for the marriage track, if they think repeated kidnappings of Imlie by BM and BD will bring trp then they are wrong. Imlie character is irritating me a lot with no growth and development so I am not able to enjoy the Arylie scenes as well.
