My brother and I have always been very close too although he is pretty annoying sometimes😂. My mama passed away when I was a toddler so me, my sister and my brother were very close, and my sister told me about periods etc but my brother was the one who told me about stuff like pregnancy, sexual intercourse when I was in Year 10. I remember my brother used to get uncomfortable initially when I talked about my periods to him, but slowly he became more comfortable. He started doing little things, like when I had cramps he did the laundry and tiny chores so I could rest, and got me heating pads too without any shyness. In Islam, we don't need to pray when we are on our periods, so he would immediately know without me even saying it 😆

Now I'm glad that my husband is also very open about things like period pain and helps me manage it etc... Blessed to have someone like him in my life, coz when I was getting married I had just turned 18 I was very hesitant but he removed all of my bad thoughts about men and early marriages.

I would love to see something similar between Akshu and Kairav, their bond is precious these days. And seeing a conversation about menstruation between abhi and shy akshu would be a lesson to a lot of people that talking about your cycle to your husband is not wrong🤝.

Every brother is annoying... Ahh. I am sorry to hear that... Always positive vibes to you guys.

The bond will remain special and yeah, it so refreshing to know how your brother came around and helped you.

And this is exactly why I want such a scene between Akshara and Kairav, Abhimanyu and Anisha and even Abhimanyu and Shefali. He is her devar... Taking care of her would be so sweet.

Like imagine, Akshara was now married to Abhimanyu and she see how all the Birla men (juniors) take care of Anisha and Shefali, Manjari and Mahima during their menstruation cycle. It would be so heartwarming to see ❤️✨

Bold: this really made me smile. Its always warming to hear such soulful, fluff, soft romance. It's romance for me 🙈 and kudos to your husband... Really ✨

With Abhi and Akshu, I would love them to have all such type of talks. Menstruation, consent, first night, fantasies they have and everything. Every dumb conversation is beautiful bcoz it brings two people closer so for me, even that is a win win

If it was general discussion i agree 😆 i feel we should start thinking that we are humans who were animals than thinking we are highly intelligent animals 😂

This intelligence has ruined mankind where womens are suppressed and she can't openly talk about anything even she kind of hides her inner feelings toh ye toh kaha bathayegi 😄

I really want abhira to talk about sensitive topics. They might not go till extreme end as they are here to earn old granny nanny would not like it but atleast periods and other things which are taboo should be brought into light.

They should make understand that girls are not boj first of all. They should also starts discussing about why girl kids are not given equal importance by using anisha as she seems to be the harrassed by her parents. this way people will learn something from a show. 😆

Exactly... TV is a huge medium to send across a msg. And I know the toxic intense couple are hyped but we can never forget the charm a soft couple bring. So yeah, in short, this is all about this. Using the power to change in the right way

Oh gosh, I didn't realise how taboo this subject is for many people!😲

What an eye opener. Thanks for posting such an excellent topic.👏

I guess I never thought about it. I'm in the UK, normal for us to talk about 'Auntie flow' visiting us monthly regardless of who is around. Never faced any issues. In my first career, my male colleagues (all older) would make me cups of tea or bring me lunch when I say I'm not feeling well - never really associated it with them being kind as I'm on period, just took it for granted. In one places we had unisex toilets with pad disposals/pad machines in open display and women talking moaning about period pain and guys commiserating. Can't even recall any negativity.. uncomfortableness....or maybe I wasn't looking for it because we talk about so openly to both women and men...

I talk about it openly with my husband, he buys my pads when I need them.

Schools in this country talk about periods, sex, pregnancy and etc very openly. Nowadays they talk about sex and relationship from primary school onward. Though I heard from some people that their partners find it a bit icky to talk about it I personally never encountered it.😔

Kudos to you all for talking and normalising what is a basic biological function.👏 Keep breaking those glass ceilings.🤗

It's still a tabooed topic in many places to talk about and eventually, ur partner will talk, I guess or know. But with brother and father or uncles u can't say periods. The code word is, my stomach is aching. So people will understand. Aur aa gaya hai means I am on my cycle.

I am glad you have had such good collegue.

It really vary from person to person and place to palce I guess. Nd I am glad there was no uncomfortable feeling or negativity around.

I am glad and I hope they teach bad touch and good touch too before anyone encounter and learn from the feeling of uncomfortablility.

❤️❤️
