TKF is Mithun's Blockbuster or Anupam's?

10 mark ka question hai.

Blockbuster for the Kashmiri Pandit's, finally people are talking about their issue, the struggle they went through, current nd future generation youth will get to know about this horrific history which was otherwise an untouchable topic and brushed under the topic. I just hope this paves way for them to get back to their roots.

Of course it is. If the overall content of a movie eventually appeals to the masses, it will work. Idk who attributed the credit for Kalank's failure to only one or two actors but this is bs lol

People like HR, SRK, Salman etc majorly contribute to the opening of their movies but it's the audience that ultimately seals the fate of the movie. Mohenjo Daro actually had a fair opening considering it had clashed with Rustom (and the blatant boycott from the industry but ah well) even though its absurd budget and content ultimately failed it big time. Similarly, Kites opened huge for that time because it had HR but it eventually crashed because of negative WOM. For War, I'd say that it's a little convoluted because it's a pure mass entertainer that rides primarily on HR and Tiger as action heroes, a genre they're both loved in. So yes, it can somehow be called their blockbuster.

About TKF, yes Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty were both spectacular in it and will walk away with accolades but I don't think one can claim that it's exactly their starpower that is making the collections grow - it's the amazing WOM, controversies and curiosity surrounding the content. They're good but not consistent like say Pankaj Tripathi or Manoj Bajpai.

Mithun da and kheri blockbuster both were lead actors

Anupam has more screen space and center role. He did a phenomenal job. So yeah it is his movie. Never expected Mithun would be so good in a serious role. But the movie worked because of the content and writting.

Tbh the actor whose performance stood out for me is Pallavi joshi.
