I have loved the show for its simplicity and very real world choice of social issues. There is no dhoom-tana moments but is a great mix of fun and interesting. However, there have been constant issues with the show that seem to always tick me off. Listing the down and would love to hear everyone else's views on the same.
1. The superiority of Haseena Malik.
I do get the fact that HM is the protagonist of the show, but I feel that Karishma performs such a beautiful balancing act that this no longer remains as a one woman show. I remember in the earlier episodes my sheer frustration at the writers for trying to villainise KS only to glorify HM. There were many cases that I felt KS's stand was more logical than HM's. So why continuously put HM on pedestal?
2. The dumbing down of Karishma Singh
Are you telling me that this otherwise intelligent cop cannot recognise Urmila as Maddam Sir even after her continuous slip ups and ability to solve cases. Are they really dumbing her down that much to further the story? Why? Maddam sir does not have to be a one woman show, and they def do not need to dumb down KS to make it that way.
There used to be a beautiful mutual respect despite the difference in opinion. Seeing KS learn to accept HM's way of solving cases and trying to do the same is one thing. But stealing the thunder away from her character is another. Also Yukti is such a fantastic actor... they should utilise her more... and Gulki and Yujti have such good chemistry as well!
3. Anubhav
I know a lot of people used to like Anubhav and HM together, I did not see an iota of chemistry between them but it was an ok track. His return has only made me hate the character more.
HM's sudden feeling of him 'deserving the truth' is so insulting to the rest of the thana members. Cause that man left you at the altar... these people mourned HM every day. So HM and her feelings for Anubhav right now are simply infuriating
4. juzzbaat over Laat
This a complete storyline fault. Yes juzbaat is a great ideology and though I personally don't 100% agree I can see how well it fits with show and so no complaints. However, my problem lies with the fact that, time and again it is seen on the show that juzbaat don't actually work. Bulbul Pandey is still a villain despit the entire juzbaat approach they took with him when he was first introduced. Meethi or whatever that female cops name was also came back for 'revenge'. So that clearly proves that the juzbaat ideology doesn't always work... contradiction much?
5. Chandramukhi Chautala
Yup. this woman is the last straw. I am taking a break from this show till Kavita Kaushik's track is over.
