How else would the paps have known about this? This is not a big event or even a small event where everyone was showing up. And this is something every actor does, including my favorites. It’s a common practice in the industry to call the paps and let them know about a meeting or visiting a friend’s house etc. But when Varun’s PR turns this into a “Varun protects … “ headline it becomes 🙄 worthy.
