Won't talk about Aryan or Aditya respectively because that's obviously a moot point. But I genuinely want to understand your point regarding the Tripathi Household and no, I am not being sarcastic. I agree that the Tripathi Household was the first place where she felt welcomed, she didn't get that at her village except from Meethi and SK.

They had been good to her until they knew that she was Aditya's wife, from then on they had not considered her as bahu. Just taunted her as an naukrani. Aparna even threw water at her, not even mentioning the vitriol of words. That's definitely just not unkind behavior. That's emotional abuse according to me. But since, I am trying to understand it from your point of view, I want to understand how you call it as familial love ? Is love supposed to be so conditional? Just because her position upgraded to the bahu of the house, her class and status began to matter. I have watched the episode where Bade Kaka absolutely humiliated her, that doesn't fall under familial love or even reprimanding a child.

And encouraging an underprivileged person to pursue their education or dreams isn't something just a family does or because we love a person so much. It's just basic human courtesy if we have the means. It's uplifting other people if we have the platform and I can assure you, many of the houses (mostly upper middle class ) in Delhi/NCR region take responsibility of the education of their househelp or househelp's kid. Sure, they want to help the person but do they consider them as family? Not always. Because the person generally has a family from where they belong. For Imlie, it might be SK or Meethi.

Familial love is not supposed to be toxic or something which turns on and off so easily. If Aparna really considered Imlie as her own daughter, would she be so eager to send her off to Pagdandiya knowing that even Imlie's life might be at risk ? Would a mother send her daughter to save her son's life knowing both things that the girl knew the place the best and that her own life might be in danger there. From my understanding, I would say no. She would like to hold her daughter as close to her as possible and pray to the divine beings. Not send her off to danger.

Second is, what is Imlie supposed to do if Aditya is drunk ? Again, genuinely asking since I couldn't understand Aparna's thought process here. She knows that Aditya isn't divorced yet, so not to patch them up surely ? Then, what else ? Couldn't Nishant , Rupi or Aditya's dad handle him while he was drunk?

Why do they just call Imlie when they need help like when the Tripathi House was being sold and Aparna had a heart attack ? All I see here is Imlie just giving and giving, while having collected scraps of affection before which indebts her to them.

But I genuinely don't see the familial love you are talking about. Hence, thought of asking you.

Bold : Satyakaam was the first one to do that, to follow her dreams collectively with Meethi. The Tripathi Household was just a path to her destination, not the whole destination.
