From this article and initial promos, we could make out that Ronit’s role is a cameo.

We got Articles mentioning Varun Badola making come back in this as hero opposite Sangeeta ⭐️ My fav pair of Des mein kikhla Hoga Chand after 17 years ❤️

But, it seems makers have roped in Ajay Choudhary as ML for Sangeeta ie Swaran
