First, good to see this topic and I actually read all the comments here so far before replying.

It's really sick, sick and sick. This lady is psycho and so is Anuj. And I am becoming another one by following this serial.

- This habit of dragging, she took 3 months to confess. Was that really a confession? We don't know, she didn't said ILU and now she is thinking about marriage. Like seriously what the hell was even that then.. proposal for live-in, one does not say those things to friends or neighbour. She just wants him to tag along like a puppy. A cute Vodafone wala puppy 🐕

- Now this OTT excitement of Anuj for shaadi. Anu ke stupid fears. All BS.

- she is still in love with Vanraj, she can't severe ties with him. Like forever. Infact she can't stay away from him. Every 2nd day she will run to him. And physically goes so close, who is paraya mard. Anuj, no hug for him but Vanraj gets forehead kiss after divorce.

- MaAn, I don't believe it is love anymore. Anuj never knew her all these years, okay, but now what is he settling for. He is obsessed with her. No one deserves to be treated the way Anu is treating him.

- Anuj has no character left to be honest, the way he dealt with his sister and anu. Man who could not prevent his sister or love from devil. And worst doesn't even try, is just day dreaming his marriage. He is no more practical has become mahaan like Anu, the way he gave all his earning and saving. What will you give to Anu after marriage. Thepla.

- Anu actually never wanted any udaan. She only and only wants acceptance from Baa, Vanraj and Toshu. She should really go back to Shah house. I mean, despite last birthday memory you are so OTT new birth, Happy Birthday, all in same house. Madam are you a fool or you think I am one.

Sorry, I wrote a long post in Sunny thread. I am done with this serial. This is not working for me...I had one tiny hope on Mukku giving Anuj empire back, Anuj Laxman Rekha or some plan. But today, I know Anuj is just a phuski bomb, all words and no action. Perfect Anupama 2.0, someone I don't want to relate to ever.

To answer your question, for me personally, the answer is no. You don’t need to say those three words - you need to express them. However, I have a strong feeling the makers are going to capitalize on this though. What she was never able to say to V when she wholeheartedly loved him, i think they will show her saying this to Anuj at some point. This will establish how much he means to her.

My irritation is with something else and it goes to before the confession. I HATED how they showed AK somewhat knowing of Anu’s feelings. This deep character development is what they screwed. I loved how they used to show AK dreaming of Anu and then waking up in fright and convincing himself that this cannot happen. This was REALISTIC as it showed a one sided lover telling himself that there is no way she will love him. But then, God knows what happened, their relationship took a really weird turn. Without any reciprocal confession, they started behaving as a married couple (purely with the dialogues). In between this, did they show AK curious as to what’s happening? Maybe once that I can remember and that too when M had recently joined. I would have enjoyed if the makers would have shown that periodically, AK has an internal monologue where he convinces himself that she just considers you a friend. This would have ultimately led to the BEST confession. As for the confession, I remember writing a post when it happened asking if she proposed to him? Cuz it did feel like that? That’s another place I was disappointed. You can’t just go proposing without first acknowledging your love. Yes, for me it’s not necessary to say ILU - she could have expressed this in her actions that night (giving him a rose as an example) but the growing old dialogue was a bit too heavy for me. On top of that, ever since the confession, they haven’t even discussed their relationship which is where I’ve completely lost the logic 😢😢😢

btw, what do you guys think will happen to the TRP his week?

Honestly, when she said "I want to grow old.." I thought she was indicating to Anuj that she was ready to tie the knot with him. But when he proposed to her, they way she was looking at him dumbfounded was way too irritating. She looked so stupid!🤪

The lack of casual intimacy or even a simple conversation after the confession is pretty jarring. It makes one wonder what was all that about.

See anuj kapadia studied in USA has global exposure had girl friends before etc so he will have modern thinking of love like hugging, kissing or saying i love you etc

But anupama is 11th not finished had studied till 10th in gujrathi medium. Even vanraj house shes not truly exposed to western concept of love like hugging, giving compliments, suprise gifts etc. She is more like a illiterate village woman than any modern city bred women

To add to this issue of being not exposed to city or western culture and way of love proposing etc and also being not so educated how can we expect her to say i love you. That could be one of her issues that no one in her circle ever behaved like how we want her to behave with anuj

Does any village illeterate woman expect her hubby to say i love you i am not sure. But anupama is like 1950s hinidi heroine shes not at all like even a 1980s or 1990s woman. And we want her to act like 2022 city woman no ways

Because her priority was never to become a working woman or business woman she was always a house wife. Anuj made her one, what great use she made of that opportunity we all know.

Based on all the advice she keeps dishing out to Sanan, Toshu, Kinjal et al, I am convinced that Anu knows about love, relationship, spouse etc .etc. Isnt that naive, IMO.

Agreed that she is like a village woman with less exposure. But this village woman can dream colorful dreams about a man in her life, why can't she say it in plain words just to him.

I am sure all village woman will say & do a little more than we know at least behind closed doors with her man.

I think my issue is not can you live with someone who doesn’t say I love you, it’s am I really your priority? Look how fast she pushes him aside for the Shah family. Yes, she never said those words the poor man has been waiting a lifetime for, but to make matters worse she completely forgot about him and his proposal to celebrate with the Devil Vanraj over becoming grandparents. Sometimes she has her priorities all mixed up. Could she not have blurted out I’m getting married AND I’m going to be a Dadi? Yes it might have shocked everyone, but it would have shown that she was equally excited about both pieces of news. I’m not pleased she made him cry and she can say ‘sorry, sorry, sorry’ a million times, but why can’t she tell this man she loves him too and he comes first?
