Hmmmm, I strongly disagree. I think apart from one instance (last Holi) , Anu has never shown affection towards vanraj after their marriage broke. She has shown sympathy and empathy but not affection. I don't doubt for a bit that she's in love with Anuj, nor do I think it's wrong for her to be scared of marriage - she's been through hell before, that too she's scared of herself not him. It's fair to experience those emotions.

I'm just pissed by the storyline and by them dragging it unnecessarily. The makers could've easily shown a private proposal acceptance and a public one too. The public one could have easily been the one on the terrace with the maan supporters. They can show some signs of them being a couple holding hands, hugging.. when they've done it before that too.

I'm pissed at having to see vanraj, and I'm pissed that they're killing the maan vibe in the process.

It makes no sense for Anu to go back to Shah house after she was insulted, yet the makers keep scripting it like that. It's just time we treated this serial like any other caustic Indian serial and move on.

I don’t think I’m pissed anymore because that word doesn’t do justice to what they are currently doing.

Going back to that toxic place should’ve been a no go. How did the makers think that this will be acceptable to the audience? Are we in 80-90s where the girl just lets her self respect go? I thought the serial was supposed to be breaking stereotypes and all about progress.

To me it appears that they are trying to break logic more than stereotypes. Also the older generation has progressed too to an extent on all this. Like what is their thought process behind coming up with a script like this?

I mentioned this on another thread too, like confession, this acceptance is what he deserves. You cannot just cannot deprive him of the happiness. That won’t be justice to him or her or their love or relationship. It needs to be intimate. They need to cry it out hug it out. His selfless love of 26 years atleast deserves this.

What is trash’s role in alllllllll of this? His presence and this set up in shah house takes us back to the DV track. Haven’t the makers learnt from that mistake and the backlash that followed? I mean how many more tries till they realise what they are actually doing???

like you said, it is high time we treat this serial as just another random/illogical/senseless serial and get on with life.
