I think the movie didn’t get good publicity.

This movie did strike my mind when watching the trailer of Kashmir files. It had some good reviews, I guess. Haven't watched yet though. Is it available on any platform?

Bad s... happens, usually the most hurt are innocent victims caught in the middle, the event did take place, it did happen and no matter what it cannot be swept under the rug forever, because the ghosts need to find release...YES there has to be freedom of expression and people do need to talk about the mistakes and the hurts if it helps them exorcise the pain, in a democracy everyone should have the right to go see the movie and participate in any discussion or not go see it.

I am all for choice and the freedom to tell your story BUT I am skeptical of the story tellers and I object to forcing/taking away rights/hate mongering/labeling or calling anyone anti this that or the other. For me extremes are very bad and everything is a circle eventually extremes meet in the curb...

Generally, if people really had brains in India, there wouldn't have been religious related hatred spread throughout the country. The media itself is involved in showing us hatred news everyday. There is so much to India than what we are being built upon for the future. There should be more focus on the real issues. Even educated people do the same. Hatred gives people the adrenaline in disguise of patriotism context. I had seen this in my past job the discriminations on the basis of religion. Its good I never participated in it.

Its fine to show past atrocities however people behave as if current living individuals of that religion are responsible for it, so just throw them out or kill them.

Travel to other big countries like India and see the difference what is the atmosphere. This can only be solved by MEDIA not a leader.

A must watch! I I have seen Tashkent files too. This one I am definitely watching in theatres. What vidhu vinod chopra did with Shikara was a mockery of the victims of kashmir genocide. What happened with kashmiri pandits, their sufferings, everyone in the media and bollywood will always pretend that nothing like this happened. Its because unlike the youth turning into terrorist when something wrong happens to them the pandits didn't resolve to take up arms. But the Indian History is dark and we need to know about this.

Like i said, a 3rd or 4th grader might get influenced in calling bhagat singh and sukhdev criminals but how can a grown up still peddle the same propaganda and compare them with terrorist is beyond me and that too by someone who is given a position to moderate and censor members' posts and to make sure not to offend anyone's sensibilities. We are given warnings and get banned right away if we get into celeb bashing or mocking but here someone whose job is to make sure such things never happen, is indulging in namecalling none other than the freedom fighters and people are ok with it. Why is there no complain against such mindset and that too of a person who has responsibilty to fulfill?

She doesn't live in India, also you can't expect everyone to know everything.

If you have an issue then maybe you should connect with Vijay or the mod itself rather than make an MID.

It definitely is but I'm saying this from my own experience. In, I think, 3rd or 4th grade we learnt about the British Raj and in one small portion of the book they called people like Sukhdev, Bhagat Singh, etc. criminals. Gandhi was the only one given respect. They weren't called terrorists but how is what they did criminal? That book has since gone out of print but I bet you there are many books like that out there.

After all what are books? They are written from the perspective of specific countries.

Good that the books have gone out of the print. May be the readers finally developed a brain and questioned the falsity of the claims as clearly British were the foreigners while Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev were operating from their own land.

@Bold: Calling people from the land terrorists/criminals because they asked them to leave their land is not just atrocious but it also shows how much deeper they buried their heads into their own behinds that their brains dissolved into their intestines. It’s just a state of lack of having any perspective at all!!!

Yes, i have the problem and i have complained to the owner multiple times about the problematic moderation of bwf. I have even posted about it in suggestion/comment section but the owner pays no heed. Afterall he is the one who has hired people with such extrimist mindset for a reason How do you even expect that he will listen to member's greivances?

I have to make a new ID everytime i want to comment because i get banned everytime due to the very same biased moderaters who have become sort of dictaters, who have the authority to choose whom to allow and whom to ban. They act on their own whims and fancies and are not answerable to anyone. However, it's not going to deter me from commenting here. I will keep coming back again and again. I care a damn about being permanent. Call me Mid or whatever. As if everyone here is authentic😆

But Minionite didn’t even call them anything. She simply shared that this was what she read in her school when she did her schooling in UK. It’s commendable that she didn’t just blindly take that information but used her intellect to learn more about it and get to the facts.
