Telugu movies can never hijack another industry plainly because they make only commercial cinemas. They are just good at it..commercial with emotion and always too loud..if one is looking for good cinema and creativity then go for Tamil films and Malayalam films.Tamil is for both commercial as well as fresh happening screenplays with multitalented new upcoming directors and malayalam movies always for its originality and simplicity and to the point stories..
To e everyone who are weighing south films based on the dubbed films then they are completely of false ideas ! Those movies which gets dubbed are of big heroes or big production houses & are affordable enough to showcase thier movies..but they ain't bringing any glory to the southern industry! If at all anything that interests maybe the crowd that gathers for few bigger names, but otherwise the recent trend in Tamil cinema is the success of low budget movies ( except actor Vijays)!
So if anyone interested in knowing tamil industry then try watching the following movies
Rhythm, mozhi, asuran, pudupettai, anbesivam, kannathil muthamittal, naduvula oru pakathai kanoam, etc. Etc...recently u guys can watch the movie LIFT in hotstar.
It's only those magnanimous things are again attracting the Bollywood audience and that's why telugu industry feels it's easy to hijack Bollywood ! They might for a smaller period of time buy again they can sustain because even telugu industry has nothing new to offer unlike tamil and malayalam movies..
Bollywood is not completely bad otherwise one wouldn't get to watch Ashyuman khuranas movies almost all his movies were good! What about movies like Lagaan, swades, pardes, humaapke hain kaun ,vivaah..many many more! I wonder what happened to the makers of Bollywood now a days! Just touch ur soil guys u might once again start to touch our souls ..for this to happen people should really stop touching the doors of kjo, alia bhatand certain over exaggerated people..
Movie buff re.Watch world cinema.Have seen most of his works as director, producer and writer.I just made a wild guess that it must be him and he is quite a popular figure.
I haven’t watched a single Telugu movie
I watch...i dont understand a word of telegu so watch hindi dubbed ones.
Beleive me south indian movies r great. Now dont feel like watching the regular hindi movies unless its actually good.
lol. Yeah you must really love those voluptuous actresses in telegu movies dancing in the rain wearing flimsy see-thru sarees. Got it.👍🏼

Which industry is it not there in? Katrina recently did a song like that despite being a top actress.

It's just that Bollywood directors stopped thinking like an Indian anymore! They are replicating western habits and lifestyle in every movie and still there are many people in India who dont adopt such fantasy living.once u forget the roots then u shan't bring glory and cannot fly high for a long time..
Agreed. An example is Gehraiyaan. The whole movie is basically conceived in English. The concepts are just foreign and western. The couples are all in live in relationships, the mom and dad are aware the couples are living together for years and happy. I mean which middle class Indian family lives like this? How would you expect an Indian audience to accept this?
