Imlie and Malini are step sisters. Malini's dad was a famous painter. He went to Pangadandia long time back and fell in love with Mithi, Imlie's mother. He didn't tell her he was already married and had a child. Mithi became an unwed mother and gave birth to Imlie. Satyakaam loved Mithi, so when she had Imlie, he always protected them. He had been a mentor and father figure to Imlie. Satyakaam loves Imlie like his daughter and is very protective of her. Aditya and Imlie got Satayakaam and Mithi married, few months back.
