The basketball court had a festive look. Festoon and ribbons, colorfully and tastefully decorated. The inanimates are all dressed up for the occasion and can barely contain their excitement. Locker Armaan,locker Atul, locker Rahul locker Ridhima, locker Muskaan, locker Anjali,and locker Keerti are all busy making arrangements for a fun filled evening. Last minute bustling and checking to see everything is alright. Now there is an air of quite expectation, mounting excitement with the lockers nudging each other and winking and smiling knowingly.
Steth keerti is looking her sizzling self, the dupatta is all new and shiny waving excitedly in the air, the kada and paya are all recovered and patched up and polished and lustrous to best of their ability. Maya is all green and waxy and bristling full of herself as usual watching from the sides. Locker nana is looking his ludicrous best too!
Hawa ka jhonka is sooo excited he just cant for his act to begin.
They all hear footfalls of someone approaching the basketball court hesitantly wondering what cud be so important and why she was called to the basketball court, curious not wanting to miss out, worried something might be troubling her favorite friends, the inanimates!!
The minute she steps in thru the entrance the hawa ka jhonka who was waiting patiently gently caresses her hair and the jingle plays in the background lightly, she stops for a moment and enjoys the breeze lifting her face up to it. The dupatta all shiny and new and smelling soo fresh gently flies in and lands on her head covering her face obstructing her vision, teasing her and while she tries to remove her, locker armaan and locker atul lead her to the center of the court where locker anjali and locker muskaan are waiting for her. Maya walks up all pert,waxy and bristly and gently removes the dupatta from her face and beams at her. Surprise !!surprise !! shout all the inanimates together!!! She opens her eyes and sees the cafeteria chairs and tables set there with a chocolate cake in the center with candles on it. Steth keerti glides down, lights the candles and invites her to blow them. She is soo touched and pleased, she blows the candles out and pop a balloon bursts showering her with glitter and chocolates and candies (what are maya's bristles for!!). Hurrraaaaay!! shout the inanimates all in unison and then kada leads the way singing happy birthday to you!!, happy birthday to you!! with payal doing cham cham in the background and all the inanimates join in to wish their favorite person ever Swasti aka Spirit a very very happy birthday!!
Music is put on and kada and payal lead the dance with sizzler Keerti and the red scarf right behind!! Locker Armaan walks up to Swasti and asks her for the pleasure of a dance with her and leads her away, twirling her around! Locker Ridhima slinks to a corner, looking enviously at em. But has promised not to shriek. Phew!!! Next locker Atul requests her to dance but cautions her to be wary cos he might step on her toes, and then locker R ccc looks on from the sidelines enviously and the inanimates snigger cos they know what steps he can do dont they!!!
Sizzler keerti then gets everyone's attention to herself with a sizzler special for Swasti!! Kuch wild ho jaye!! and the lockers go woow and the male lockers go all wide eyed and open mouthed. Locker shub is seen sweating profusely in a quandry!!
All in all an enjoyable evening with all of em dancing and partying away into the late night. Psssst! Locker Shanx has been locked up in the basement storage room, so that he doesnt become a spoil sport. No one knows who locked him in!!!!
