In my school and college, we were asked to remove rakhis, mehendi, sabari mala clothes , anklet etc. Why? Because it was not part of uniform. And we all respected that.

Then why this sudden exception to the Muslim ppl.

do u ask jews to remove their skull cap? are u so full of hate that u wont honor someone’s religious right? and how are sikh people wearing turban different from hijab? or is it because u dont want the sikh backlash but happy to hate on muslims. go read a book u know nothing

I was not the one shouting Hijab is a right and not a compulsion

That they Choose to wear it and is not a oppressive garment like pardah.

Hijab is just as mandatory in Islam as turban is in Sikhism… just the fact that hijabs are being banned but turbans are ok indicates it’s discrimination against a particular community.

Just like many Sikhs choose not to wear turbans despite it being an important/mandatory aspect of their faith, many Muslims choose not to observe hijab.

Another thread where people who are not even Muslims are telling what is obligatory in Islam and what is not..

What I don't like is the hypocrisy.

Ghoongat is oppressive, pardah is oppressive, sindoor is oppressive

But Hijab and Burqa is freedom and reformative?

All of this is just a form of religion compulsion. To put people in line.

Whether people want to accept it or be blissfully unaware is another question

Women are oppressed enough and have been hidden away for centuries.

It's 2022, where still we are fighting for rights and such things take a step back.

Today it's hijab, tomorrow its burqa. Then separation of women and men and no progress for women.

There is live examples of this all around the world.

So many of my Muslim friends never wore Hijab, but were made to in recent times due to pressure from their elders and family.. They hardly mingle with anyone anymore. Look at how this changing the society and pushing it back.

Hijab is so mandatory 😆

Muslim Educational Society (MES) which runs around 150 educational institutions in Kerala and the Middle-East banned hijab which covers the face of women in all its institutions.

That’s a niqab which covers the face. Hijab is head cover.

It’s not “banned” in any Middle East institution.

If you don’t know the difference then don’t spread misinformation

I asked for BURQA that these girls want to wear

I am sure veing a muslim you know the difference very well between a burqa and hijab

Shows how much you are unaware about the muslim community

See, most muslim women that wear burqa do it outside their homes but when they enter college they remove burqa and just keep the hijab ..Same thing in offices... That girl who was hounded by those saffron goons also said in her ndtv interview that she removes the burqa once inside the campus

Why is my post taken down? No freedom of speech here? So much caring about muslim families forcing their kids, what about governments forcing us to do things on earth? Calling yourself education institutional, then please teach how to give respect to others first, we are not here to learn to become doormats or slave to governments, work places or education institutional..
