Thank you so much for the tag dear Reetika! 🤗It was heartbreaking to watch the show on countless occasions before Anuj made an entry, especially during the EMA reveal. Anupama had to go through so much pain and suffering at the hands of the person shed put on a pedestal! Breaks my heart to think that she represents multiple women in Indian society who are denied the right to higher education, right to earn and be independent as they are married off as soon as they turn 18. Then the husband and in laws further rob them of human rights and treat them like shit! Children follow their footsteps and the woman ends up being all alone even in a joint family set up. Have seen so many of them in real life.

Anuj is truely her Prince Charming! His entry brought positivity and hope in her life! She saw herself as someone who was worthy of being given a second chance at making a career. Of being trusted with responsibility, of being loved and it has increased her self worth. Yes, she had moved on before his entry and was on the path to self discovery but it's his unflinching devotion and love for her that has given a new meaning to her life! She truely deserves every bit of it! If not for the stupid ITV twists and turns, making a mockery of Anupamas character and the makers obsession with their hero, her growth and their love story would've been such a treat to watch!

The amount of respect they both have for wach other is simply awesome.... any relationship requires respect.... a relationship might survive without love but could never survive without respect.... Anu finally found in Anuj the man who loves her and respects her for who she is...

When she was with Vanraaj, she needed him... she couldn't even walk a step without asking for his support (even though she never got that support from him). While with Anuj, it's not like that... she doesn't need him....rather she wants him anyway....

When we need someone/something, we are ready to sacrifice ourselves and our happiness just to keep it with us... but she is still choosing him for her...because he has made her feel loved as well as respected...

PS. I don't know if I am making any sense...but that's just how I feel...😆
