Saumya aspires to become an ITV writer. She meets an editor and tells him her story and gets Rs. 25000 rupees for publishing her story on the magazine. Later Saumya tells this to her family, her father and younger sister (Medical student) support her dream but mother dont (she fears her Saumya's father's failure in his career will lead Saumya to fall in her career too and she might suffer). Later, Armaan Oberoi is introduced as the producer of a very popular show Pyaar Ka Rishta produced by Oberoi Telefilms. He watches his award function with his family and through his conversation reveals what a two faced character he is where he speaks progressive things infront of camera and behind the camera something else is his real personality. Later in search of small town writers he organizes a talent hunt. Saumya takes part with her dad's permission (but dont tell her mother) and gets selected by Armaan himself for Mumbai visit as a finalist but Saumya's mother take her home. Freeze.
Precap : A visitor visits Saumya and she rejects him for his regressive thoughts and give him the example of the great progressive man Armaan Oberoi. On the other hand, Armaan tells how he wants a wife whose remote control will be in his hand.
The presentation of this show is solid but acting and character graph falls slightly weak. Shaadi Mubarak's Tibrewal Mansion is revamped into Oberoi mansion and its looking supremely classy. Cinematography is totally Sony standard and bgms and good. The show is all about dreams, aspirations and conspiracies by a producer to stop a writer from persuing her dreams. I would rate the first episode 6.5/10.
