WTF happening with Indian audience

Did you guys notice except for Sub TV shows all the channels serial who having more TRP than they deserve having common factor. It's ridiculous plot that all people are watching instead of good content that shown on Sub TV. 

The common trande going on bullshit drama serial is two sisters or two women are fighting with each other for boy who is husband of one of them and that boy also giving signals to both sisters .

Example of TRP bragging serials with illicit plot are

Anupamaa 

Udaariyaan 

Thapki pyar ki 

Thoda sa badal Thoda sa Pani

Kumkum bhagya 

Bhagyalakshmi 

Bade acche lagate hai 

I mean keep dignity of woman, we woman don't have this low standards to go behind used goods

And I forget most bullshit serial Anupamaa I mean how can they show that, vanraj is no macho man 

The entire trp system is rigged.That's why big channels always seem to have more trps than normal.

Plus,for some reason audience like regressive content so good shows always get pulled off or their plot gets changed.

No wonder the youth of the country has moved on to the ott platforms.

Itv is dying a slow death, the content is so regressive and inappropriate of these shows that they will lose almost all urban viewers very soon, the shows will then cater to only the rural audiences.

Aur sirf aise shows ko TRP mil nahi rahi hai in fact aise ghatiya shows aur bhi aa rahe hai🙄

Exactly it presents such a skewed n wrong picture of society today, even of the rural areas.

Women have better things to do in life, even in not so urban areas women are becoming more independent n aware of their rights, their priorities are changing.

Love and Marriage are a choice now, not a compulsion or a need or necessity. They are following their passions, pursuits, careers. 

Even Men are no more a priority for women now, apart from the itv universe.

The real world in some ways is so much better than the planning-plotting world of itv.

Also why give men so much footage, why can't itv evolve beyond the usual pitting one woman against another, stop recycling women's jealousy for your stupid plots, and try to use that creativity in writing n showing some progressive and believable plots.

In real world women aren't actually that jealous tbh, and the type of male chauvinist these itv MLs are, any woman will gladly sacrifice them for another woman 'tu hi sambhal maine bahut jhel liye, ab chhutkara chahiye mujhe isse, kabse peechha chhudana chahti thi' will be their actual real thoughts.

I agree that Sony Channels have been doing a fab job with good content. I also agree the need to modify and adapt with the metrics for TRPs.

How else do you explain ALL shows of a channel/group having similar TRPs?

I am guessing it is about:

1. Reach:

This is about addressing, expanding viewer base.

Some channels have a large viewership (reach) marketed well. This appears to be the root of the problem. Some channels have built a loyal viewership base and that makes them not move to other channels.

2. Marketing:

Ensuring quality content gets to the audience. Like: ensure the production house provides quality content in terms of shooting, editing, costumes, make-up, promos apart from content and actors. Sometimes it is what we see that grabs our attention.

3. Platform availability/alternate viewing:

The channel needs to analyse who are the people watching television and who are the people who use alternate platforms to view content.

Like people watching it live on Television v/s offline viewing on SonyLiv. Ensure the content is protected on ALL platforms.
