That saami was so cringe that I haven't even watched it full. Just gave it a skip. Harshad is such a fan actor. I wonder why he picked up this role. Damn!?

Agree 100% with you. The last couple episodes look monotonous. Want to mention here I got hooked on to SAAK and kind of binge watched it from the confesion episode. I was very upset with it going off air. I loved the story line and mostly the chemistry between the lead couple. The romantic scenes in this seem very familiar. Especially the gazing, close moments like nose touchings etc etc. I almost feel like these are copied from those super hit scenes. 🤯Looks like there is no new content / ideas from the creative team.

Harshad has done the gazing, nose and forehead touching since the last 16 yrs. Well he can do a lot of things and done also..

I expected a forehead kiss. Maybe due to Covid pecks and kisses are banned.

The repeated harping on about "off screen equation, body language, interviews", etc. makes it very obvious what this post is actually about. Many others and I watch shows for entertainment and appreciate Harshad’s acting and dedication. Not to be salty about a drowned ex-offscreen-ship lol.

Since people are so freely talking about the real person Harshad here, it's my opinion that there's something burning somewhere due to his success and popularity as Abhimanyu, and due to the online AND offline success that his current pairing has become.

Allow me to clarify that my post was not made out of saltiness that Harshad is doing a show with someone other than Jenny, as you seem to be implying. I’m also not harping on any drowned/afloat ships. I’m harping on facts. Fact is, shipper or non-shipper, it is objectively undeniable by anyone with a working pair of eyes that Harshad had the best chemistry of his career with Jenny. And it’s natural for all of an actor’s other pairings to be compared to and measured by the best one of his career. Harshad himself said that she “must have brought out the best performance of his career”.

You might think I’m bashing Harshad. But I have neither the intention nor the need to do that. I’ve been a huge fan of Harshad’s for more than half my life, I know how hard he works on his shows. I also have great respect and adoration for everything that he is as a person. But being a fan doesn’t mean losing your objectivity. Support karna hai, but calling a spade a spade (constructive criticism) where necessary is also important. Just as due appreciation should be given where truly good work is done. I do both with the same objectivity and fairness. If Harshad was doing a show with a proper story, and a complementary (and appropriate) co-lead and supporting cast that match his calibre and carry the show equally with him, I’d be the happiest for him. Because he truly deserves the best. He doesn’t deserve the burden of having to carry an entire show (one without any actual content at that) on his shoulders almost all on his own.

Aditya's character was glorified somehow on that show and he acted somewhat ok. In this show, a very bad script is getting his pathetic actual acting out, always screaming on top of his lungs with pathetic dialogue delivery and execution. No wonder the show and his character along with the non-existent chemistry with his daughter like pair onscreen is making the show get trolled relentlessly on a daily basis. As for the trps, its not because of him the show is getting trps, it's because the show has some goodwill among the audiences despite its pathetic script. Hc should thank his stars that ranjan offered him this show.

It’s my understanding that the original script was planned differently from how it actually played out. And this was due to the channel’s incessant interference and demands.

I too wanted to know why BP is a weak script in comparision to all 3 seasons of Yrkkh. BP or EHT had a story. Yrkkh is just about marital life.

My POV ( which matches yours about constructive criticism)

it is a myth that anti Or once upon a time Jenshad shippers are trolling Harshad and the show. The critics are those who have watched most or S1 or S2 and are comparing Mohsin's acting abilities with Harshad Chopda.

it is Mohsin vs Harshad. Also some followers of BP and Tere Liye are really finding lot of loopholes in HCs execution of scenes and dialogue delivery.

I never knew his voice cracked while he talks in loud voice. The overall effect is hoarse.

The creatives are making HC enact the childish tone which was smoothly done by Mohsin.

During Pre Tilak days, Utkarsh gave Harshad some very good scenes. Abhimanyu flirted with Akshara and also took care of her in the resort. Harshad can pull off such scenes very well but no, the creative director wants him to dance on Saami (yes I liked his dancing style) and become Mohsin Part 2.

Today's episode was better in terms of execution but after watching SBS segments the editing is pathetic.

Mujhe dono ka acting achcha laga BP mein... I mean within a month Jennifer transitioned from Maya to Zoya.. Sabki bas ki baat nahi and yaa i want to comment that the side actors also gave their very best to BP.
