Bold: See, I can maybe try to reconcile with Taiji's excuse of not saying anything to prevent being homeless, but constantly denigrating that child to the point of poking at her already broken spirit, and then continuing the blatant character assassination in her adulthood, was just so infuriating. Exactly!! Khud ke beghar hone ka darr tho chalo maan bhi lete hain!! But everything after that was just pure malice!!! I mean husband ke mistress pe gussa samajh aata hai.. And to top it off, she (and Saumya's mother!) had the audacity to beg Saumya to stay quiet! Kyu be? Khud toh itne josh se bol rahi thi jab Anoop ke kaan bhar rahi thi against Saumya.
Matlab iss Mathur family (barring Saumya and Krish) ka moral compass kitna defective hai yaar? Ek ka toh hai hi nahi, aur baakiyon ka pata nahi itna kyun idhar udhar hota hai.
I also liked that you brought up Neeta's hatred toward Jeet. At least there's a genuine reason for it. Jeet's a reminder of her husband's unfaithfulness. But Anoop calling Sanjeev Saxena "shareef, nek insaan" made me laugh. Anoop, and everyone else, just always blaming Jeet for being illegitimate is just so crooked when everyone is aware of his father's deeds. I really liked Jeet's lines when he says this is Saumya's battle ..we can stand behind and offer her support at best ..
We don't need white knights to fight our battles or avenge our honour ..and honour has nothing to do with chastity or virginity ..!
I really like that they've made Jeet an alpha and still he's willing to step back ...because he recognizes that this battle is not his to fight ...normally MLs in such shows or films are shown soft spoken Betas ...they've flipped that and I find that interesting
