In this article, he mentions that Rajan Shahi personally took his audition and offered him Abhimanyu Birla.

Now whatever is currently done is entirely in the hands of the creative directors. Were they involved in the selection process no one knows. However one thing is for sure, the current creatives are fully in charge of his character. They have not only highlighted Abhi's but showcased the actors ( ML and FL) short comings.

Only team DKP knows where Abhimanyu is heading ie North, South, East or West.

Even I didn't think RS allows much liberty to actors. He would always go on about how unquestioningly willing Mohsin and Shivangi were about whatever they were asked to do on the show. That didn't seem like a good thing to me. I would think better work must be done when actors are allowed to give inputs and their suggestions are taken in how a character is portrayed. It is very sad. What is going to be the end of this show I wonder. There seems to have been changes even in the crew? ..and I'm guessing the crew, cvs and actors are not as well synced as before. Despite the new cast and story, the makers seem just tired of their own show. They're probably very surprised themselves that such high trps are garnered.. And it isn't just bcz of HC's popularity either.. Since all the twists and drama, the nos have risen, at the beginning for some weeks it was in the range of 2.4--2.6..inspite of the massive promotion.. So looks like the story, (or lack of it, as we see it) is actually liked!!

I just hope the obsession with the "offscreen" body language, behaviour and actions of actors with their costars ends here. Harshad is an artist, an actor, and his craft and skills are being showcased very well here in yrkkh.

The repeated harping on about "off screen equation, body language, interviews", etc. makes it very obvious what this post is actually about. Many others and I watch shows for entertainment and appreciate Harshad’s acting and dedication. Not to be salty about a drowned ex-offscreen-ship lol.

Since people are so freely talking about the real person Harshad here, it's my opinion that there's something burning somewhere due to his success and popularity as Abhimanyu, and due to the online AND offline success that his current pairing has become.

For the producer , who is investing in a project , and for broadcaster who telecasts it on TV, if their show yrkkh is in top 5 , trp near 3 , woh abhimanyu ko abhimanyu gobar Birla bhi bana denge , without batting an eyelid. Everyone knows since balaji and the rise of ksbkbt , that itv is not the medium to showcase art and sensible stories. It's for entertainment n only the content which sells is good enuf for them.

Last 2 weeks I was out ..I had only Tata sky , and star plus. I used to wait for 9.30 in the night and I used to watch every damn gobar show 8 till 10.30 ke chalo timepass ho raha hai 😑 people don't really watch it to watch it..they can watch anything when they are free .channel choice is theirs. Now it's me and my hotstar..so I will watch only the shows which I like..but 90% of the TV watching audience are not familiar with this format.

I need not bring up actors who objected to the content and quit really successful shows ..they were never able to find feet in itv or bollywood. Mohsin is a good actor , he is good looking but he may never find another kartik...these 5 years may be the golden years of his career..

i like BP because it actually has a plot at least in the first 50 episodes and good acting by both leads

and not two sisters going after a dude like there is nobody else on the planet

there are no AIR WALA hearts or people romancing with a PEN in bepannah

but some people love JIJA JI and nibba nibbi wala love so to each their own
