Akshara, after having spent 3 years alone and out of the security of her family, should have been more sensible. I guess the makers forgot that this angle ever existed.
Also, that she could so easily pass on Abhi for her sister as if Abhimanyu is not a person but a thing to be used. You can always refuse him even if you do love that person - that is well within your rights. But to refuse him because you consider that he is good for your sister, who are you to take this decision for him?
I know Abhi agreed to marry Arohi, but he, was in a way, manipulated into this marriage by his parents and Devi Tyageshwari.
And Arohi - what kind of a person is she? You agreed to marry this man even after knowing that he loves your sister. And then you taunt your sister with your happiness and your sarcasm. And now you have the gall to blame your sister? Grow up Arohi Goenka. The world doesn't revolve around you.
See that's what baffles me even more. Like you said, living alone adds things to your life. Makes you more sensible and mature. So very true. I can speak from my own experiences as well, it makes a huge difference to our lives. So, I really don't understand, how Akshu learnt nothing. It's not like I'm saying don't love your family unconditionally. But always remember, if you let someone walk over you once, they'll do it again and again. Because they'll take your silence as a mark of weakness. And not love.
And refusing Abhi is one thing, playing this passing the parcel shiZz, it was HURTFUL. Legit noone, absolutely noone, thought what Abhi was going through. If Neil hadn't been proactive, Abhi's life would actually be destroyed.
@bold : that's it. That's the problem. Aarohi never grew up. Uski zidd ko sab maante gye. Noone bothered to reach her the difference between right and wrong. Noone scolded her for being so mean towards her siblings, for being selfish. Her actions now are a result of all these years of just giving in. Kairav was ready to send Akshara away to keep Aarohi happy, that was one of the most ridiculous things I had ever heard. And he thinks he's a fair brother, impartial. Psh
And the scene of Sirat that keeps playing, where she told Akshara to never leave her sister's side. What nonsense was that. Firstly, you tell your kids to look after each other and stop them from straying down the wrong path. Understandable. But who says never leave each other and humesha saath dena, thodi ziddi hai... That's plain ridiculous. I didn't see the previous season, but now I'm glad. I couldn't have tolerated this shiZz...
