I hate how some contestants are smartly playing PR games using race & region. Bigg Boss is an Indian show which should showcase the flavors of India but contestants should not make it apparent to play politics about their upbringing & where they come from.
Tejaswi/ Nishant / Rakhi/Bichukle keeps on speaking on Marathi... BB hardly objects. Just because it's shot in Mumbai how is the unfair advantage given to them for garnering Maharashtra votes? Why the hell was Nishant speaking Karan Marathi was shown in the show for a whole of 2:34 mins? I don't see that bias for other languages? I don't think even 2.34 minutes of English will be allowed in the show, but English is one of the legislative languages of the country... Marathi is not!
Karan plays Punjabi card way too much... why? Why does he have to bring his Punjabi mother to talk about weight loss? I feel any Indian mother will do that not just Punjabi mothers. Also, why play to the stereotype of having single malt? It all looks like a PR strategy on regional manipulation.
Same for Devoleena. Which Assamese person keeps their "gamchha" on the table as decoration? It's supposed to be auspicious& they do not use it as decoration on the table. It's anything but Assamese ritual. And why do you need to do Bihu? Just talk with your mom just like normal people.
I hope people from these places understand & don't get played.
