i started watching Telegu movies then stopped because every movie was almost same with different hero . typical masala movies for masses .

Hollywood with the ridiculous amounts of generic repetitive superhero movies, reboots/remakes mid budget movies basically dying out is not exactly in a good place right now either. Hollywood peaked a while ago

Telugu-Tamil etc.. is even more controlled by movie families, Nepotism-Star Kids and all the peccadillos that affect all industries world wide, if your "pop and mom are Lions you are expected to be Born a lion cub and act like one" GET OFF the victim wagon, What gets you opportunities is your talent, your drive and you luck. More star kids flop than not in every entertainment industry including Hollywood because they have no talent.

The problem in India's film industry is more complex than "star kids" a lot more complex...

Of some reason, South Indian actors put me off. Not actresses though. It’s same for most people I know. I don’t even know why.. maybe it’s a kind of style that is unknown?

I think Marathi movies are best in the country… if one wants to watch movies based on content and realism. They have been making them forever & in that sense are better than BW, and have always been far ahead.

As Rajmouli rightly said, bollywood is out of touch with the audience. They don't know anymore what audience wants to see

I haven't watched many Marathi movies but amongst the Southern languages I feel Malayalam movies are the best.. Their content is always top-notch plus the actors are always so invested in their roles.. even the newer actors.. Bollywood new gen actors suck but Mallu actors like Fahaad, Nivin, Tovino, Dulquer all of them are so good..

I believe not just Telugu industry but hollywood and any other movies with different and interesting content, mindful of moviegoers interest is a threat to Bollywood film industry.

If Bollywood continues to make same triangle love story with 6 songs and predictable twists or Singham reloaded with different actors, heroine playing item song without naming it as item song or biopics, other industry will score.
