Watch Mohanlal's drishyam 2 (Malayalam)

South Industry has much more strong personality SUPERSTAR than Bollywood.

Have you seen how Rajani's or Vijay's film release in South, the kind of Euphoria ?

Regarding acting barring some in Bollywood who are true actors like Majon, Nawaz, etc no Star can match south actors like Vijay Sethupati, Kamal Sir, etc.

If more and more south movies enter into North Theaters in the form of Dubbed movie, then Mumbain's will forget who SRK or Salman is. That's the kind of variety South Indian movies have. From masala to thought proving yet entertaining movies they have it all.

Bollywood will definitely have to pay for its lousiness and making one after another craps like Radhe, Bombay Velvet, etc. Bollywood is either remaking south Indian movie or South Korean movie, if they don't find one they start making Biopic on every person or event. Stop That and hire good writers, story tellers. Even in techniques in terms of Cinematography, Choreography, vFX, South have already surpassed Bollywood.

So its not just Corona which is hovering over Bollywood, but its their own lousy work portfolio which might ultimately end the whole industry and make these so called stars and superstars jobless.

Hmm haven’t even watched bahubali yet, so sorry still Bollywood fan.

but if Bollywood keep going nepotism way, it won’t be long before this does happen.

There is def a shift, I just saw Alia and some actors /directors on big boss for promotion. That’s a first

I know star kids have always been around but from 2012 to present it’s been overboard. You can’t develop an industry with talentless people.

Agree. But to be fair Telugu industry has star kids too. Haan KJo jaise 🐍 shayad nahin honge wahan.

Btw, I enjoy Telugu movies a lot❤️. It's commendable how despite being a regional industry, their cinematic quality frequently outclasses Bollywood. And NOBODY does masala better than Tollywood. 😎

I will leave the forum if you don't love this movie. It's a beautiful movie.

As if

This is a fallacy

Telugu-Tamil etc.. is even more controlled by movie families, Nepotism-Star Kids and all the peccadillos that affect all industries world wide, if your "pop and mom are Lions you are expected to be Born a lion cub and act like one" GET OFF the victim wagon, What gets you opportunities is your talent, your drive and you luck. More star kids flop than not in every entertainment industry including Hollywood because they have no talent.

The problem in India's film industry is more complex than "star kids" a lot more complex...

I saw Pushpa and it ain't no work of art! If that's what is expected to rip apart all other filming industries ...well then the viewing public is s c w r . . . d

Hijacking would be when they make the Hindi audience watch the movies in Telugu without dubbing them...Till then its a good movie dubbed in Hindi that is working....its not hijacking..😆

Bollywood just needs to come up with one good film, enough of south remakes and biographies. And in my opinion, only one of the Khans can do this at this point as they are the last superstars we have.

After Radhe I don't have any hope from Salman anymore. I don't know what is going on with SRK. My last hope is Aamir.

Unfortunately, unlike south Bollywood doesn't have any middle-aged superstar. All our superstars are above 50. Bollywood is missing the young energy.

I never said nepotism does not exist. But perhaps you’re unaware that most Bollywood movies are south remakes. Which obviously means that there is creative bankruptcy. Anyone with a working brain can see Bollywood have gone downhill. Recently even producers said the same on Anupama’s show. Star kids have always been here but post 2012 it’s gotten to the point where most actors are star kids

Bollywood sucks ass now with the star kids taking over (just compare current generation with the 90s or 2000s gen) and in general the quality of the movie has gone down. I'm sick of biopics and miss watching entertaining & fun Bollywood movies. They take themselves too seriously now (every biopic, desh bhakt movie etc.) and if they don't they are complete garbage (see shit like radhe). Even comedy movies are trash now

If they keep going like this Telugu movies should take over
