You can't have your cake and eat it too. It was still a typical item song and "objectifying" women (that's the appeal especially with Samantha being in it), shoving in some woke lyrics doesn't change that.

Was it cheap and vulgar yes.

Did Samantha need to do this at this point ,no especially when she was speaking about how she now commands meaty roles and being all woke.
