Okay I clicked on this clickbaity article only to realize it's false, and then watched this 1992 interview of Salman Bhai conducted in Canada!

I realized this is where the rumor started that he had asked for Juhi's hand from her father!! 😆

He starts the interview by claiming he's actually Aamir and not Salman, and then continues joking throughout.

Kudos to the interviewer for patiently running through the interview! 👏 I think she did a fab job.
