Excuse me that shah family is all selfish leeches

They are nice with anuj because hes super rich

they do not love him or his sister or care for them ok

I truly think ppl who are saying they are extended family have put a mask on their minds

Once they neechod anuj and malviak of all property and money all this nicety will go ok

than they will show true colors to anuj and malvika

Its better anuj and malvika leave as orphans full life than have such family like shahs

they are all worst than a criminal by nature

i think the PH did a great job in making it realistic tbh.

yes we hate Vanraj, but look, Anuj is the new man in Anu's life and will likely be those kids' step-father very soon. By extension Anuj is like family to Vanraj now. What happens to Anuj/Mukku affects Anu and if she is affected, her kids will be affected...so I dont see anything wrong with Vanraj being there tbh. It makes sense...the 3 of them were supposed to show up, they didnt, no one answered that phone, so ya you're gonna drop by to see what's up. And yeah in most households when you sense danger, you are gonna send "the man" of the house to check things out. He gets there and sees a mess and 3 people on the floor. How realistic would it have been for him to just turn around and walk and leave them there in the middle of a breakdown ? Yeah, he was a whack husband but he doesnt hate Anupamaa.

i think it is more realistic to show each characters with varying degrees instead of showing someone one-sides like Kavya who is just bad ALL the time. They need to give her character some depth...there has to be SOMETHING else she cares about besides herself and V.

No one is complaining about Vanraj being there. Its him being whitewashed and made out to be the good guy

Dude what Vanraj did for so many years was ABUSE. For years and years. What varying degrees? the torture and abuse he heaped on Anupamaa for years is reality.

Also every abuser claims they love their victim and dont hate them. Thats the whole cycle of abuse and how it works

I cannot believe people are downplaying years of ABUSE Anupama faced. No wonder domestic abuse is such a huge problem in India with this mentality

Redemption only happens after punishment and realization. Years and years and years and years f abuse cannot just go away with one small gesture or talk

One domestic abuser cannot be redeemed by showing sympathy to victim of another domestic abuser

I am not really upset with the show per se....iTV mein jitna bhi realistic dekhani ki koshish kare, kuch hi extent tak ho sakta hain, because its all about drama and masala, with a few life lessons maybe thrown in...for a hero to be shown a hero, it's important to have a strong antagonist also and that's what vanraj is for...plus, the actor playing vanraj is a veteran TV actor, toh usko screen space bhi Dena Banta hain...but I can understand people's anger also...plus we all analyze things way more than the writers would do while writing the scripts 😆

All these nice things he is saying about change and acting like a better person is so hypocritical. That is why he can not be taken seriously. You’re right though, even an “evil” person can have qualities that make them seem more human… but seems like writers are overlooking those things and focusing too hard on representing characters in a certain light. They also need to show Anupama setting some boundaries with the Shahs… sure it is not realistic for Anupama to stay without her kids.. but it is not necessary to put Vanraj in every single track of hers even after their divorce.. what kind of progress is that. Anupama may moved out of the Shah house physically, but she is still way too involved in their affairs and has failed to set the appropriate boundaries for Vanraj, Baa, Kavya, etc. that is why even Kavya feels comfortable questioning Anupama because Anupama has made herself too available even to the people who have torn her apart. To me, that is not progress. I am not saying she should be completely heartless but she needs to evaluate her relationships with the people that have hurt her the most.

I think my problem with Vanraj being there as witnessing the Mukku situation and seeming like he sympathizes is that even he has been abusing Anupama emotionally for years and it is just giving audience mixed messages to put Vanraj in that scene making him look all good when he has done so many despicable things himself. Sure he may have other good qualities, every person has good/bad qualities. But in this situation, I don’t think Vanraj should have been included. And it just makes it seem like the show is really just concerned with creating new tracks rather than doing justice with the concept of women empowerment.
But I agree with you, that of course Vanraj would come down to check on them.. however the fact that he feels so comfortable marching into Anuj’s house just doesn’t sit right with me.

cuz she is trash. they fell for each other for a reason. both had material reasons for being with the other. it was never past surface level. they (especially Kavya) served as a utility in his life. she was the PYT that Anupamaa was not. I look at Vanraj as someone we cant trust based on his history. Doesnt mean he isnt gonna try to get you to believe in him, but im just as weary as anyone else. i do appreciate any niceties that he extends to Anu-j tho rn cuz they need all of the support they can get. they have no one. ill take it for what it is for now and we'll see where they go with this storyline.

Anu will never ever have any boundaries with them. 3 of them of her flesh and blood and the other two she regards as her flesh and blood. 26 years is a loooooooong time to have someone in your life. she was the glue that held them together. i dont think she would comfortable not just being able to show up at a whim. Vanraj will never be out of her life. this is what co-parenting looks like. i dont see her as regressing...i mean she walked down the street in public holding a man's hand who is not her husband. never thought i wouldve seen that. Besides, our culture has NO boundaries. ever!!! 🤣

personally, i prefer seeing Vanraj and Anuj like this - it makes them seem like real people. i cant stand seeing characters that are just the vamp (i.e. Komolika) - they end up seeming really cartoonish. people are crying blood cuz they think Anuj's character is being destroyed in favour of Vanraj. The more "flaws" i see coming thru in Anuj the more endearing i find him. when he admitted to his one-night stands, not knowing how to express himself in so many situations, not knowing how to handle Mukku, the self-criticism...i would much rather see this than him being a savior. i wouldve prolly stopped watching it already. i dont like saccharine sweet.

My main problem is with anupama and not with vanraaj...the way she said that she never faced such things was disgusting...i mean is she saying that she is lucky enough to only face emotional abuse and not physical one like mukku...is she giving the message that emotional abuse is not that bad compared to physical assault

I mean is their some pain meter where we can calculate which kind of pain hurts more

In my view pain chahe kaisa bhi ho par kaam ek hi karta hai wo hai dard Dene ka.. be it emotional pain or physical pain

My second problem is anupama not answering back vanraj when he said 'men should change'

I mean she should have said na ki hello mister you are no different than those men who need to change

And may be last two three episodes were not that bad and I'm having a biased view but yaar we viewers are already frustrated by Anupama's vanraaj jaap since last few episodes and this was our threshold to is baar gussa zyada nikal raha hai

i see what what you're saying and im gonna comment giving Anu the benefit of the doubt.

i agree with you that she shouldnt be quantifying her pain with Mukku's. They can co-exist and both be as equally bad to the individual involved. it's not a competition to see who got it worst from their ex-husbands.

i can get past this because i see the tactic here...when we have a friend who is going thru a hard time, we often try to find an example in our own lives to relay to them as a way of making them feel like they can overcome.

People who are very careful about how they speak will 9/10 time add in a disclaimer of "oh im not saying that what i went through was as bad as you..." even if subjectively it was.

i think the point is when you are dealing with someone who is fragile, you pick and choose your words cuz you dont want to say something that is going to further trigger them.

what if mukku snapped at her and got offended?

i think anu is doing a great job dealing with all of this tbh - she walked into a whole situation when she fell in love with anuj.

and i do think that she understand the gravity of what she has been thru...with more realization to come as she gets closer to Anuj and compares him to V

i would like to see her with a solid partner at her side. not right now, but at some point in her life, it would be nice to see someone with her, side-by-side. and i mean this from a place of having "your person" that is there when you need them, death, life, hurt, happiness....they is only so much your can share with your immediate family before you crave that intimacy of a romantic partner.

she needs to get herself together first tho....

there is nothing vanraj can do to redeem 26 years of abuse. nothing he can trade in, nothing he can say, give, offer. he can make an attempt to better himself for kavya, however he needs to realize where he is going wrong and she needs to hold him accountable. i dont think he is an out-and-out bad character...i just think somewhere he learned that women have nothing to offer him other than within the 4 walls of his house.

they do not need to love anuj-mukku, but they need to all be able to co-exist, because like it or not they are heading towards being a joint family

im speaking of what is happening now...once the property and money is stolen, we will talk then 😂
