Anuj Kapadia - humble tycoon,, staunch feminist and just overall a sweet, sexy, successful guy is written as the polar opposite of the toxic male lead - Vanraj.
Why are you guys - makers, writers, producers - diluting that contrast. Let both characters occupy their space in the overall service of the story.
A great protagonist needs a worthy antagonist. MAKERS - Remember Diehard is remembered not only for Bruce Willis but also and even more so for Alan Rickman, rated the most charismatic antagonist of all time.
Both AK and VS are cast well- let them elevate the drama with their respective character arcs. Sure, neither is ALL good or ALL bad, so show those nuances.
In any case Anupama is the hero of the show. Let the ensemble cast around her serve her story, her journey.
And don't lose the epic fan following you got because of MaAn. In this fragmented media universe, Anupama has been the undisputed lead show since AK's introduction. And all credit to the writers who wrote an epic character and GK portrayed him perfectly For MaAn to be of continued interest, Anuj needs to stay charismatic, savvy, successful and solid, not some pathetic shadow of himself.
C'mon right now he's the biggest asset of the show. Leverage him, elevate and focus on MaAn.
And for heaven's sake bring back Gaurav Khanna to us in all his glorious sexiness.
