The first time I watched the episode I hated it because I am never looking for simply #Abhira moment. I am looking for them to reconcile. But I had to go back to the episode again and again to understand why the writer is portraying Abhimanyu in this volatile manner. Why is he being so harsh to the same girl whom he was almost worshipping the night before.
The previous day he left his duty and wandered on the roads to find her. Even in intoxicated state all he was concerned about was her needs, wiping her tears, listening to her and even performing for her. He did everything that he dreams of getting from her. It is he who needs her support. He wants her beside him because she heals his heart, her voice smoothens every stressful crease of his life.
When Abhi wakes up in his bed, has a feeling of urgency. He has no idea how he reached his own bed that makes him uneasy because it means he was not in control. Then his first thought is about Akshara and her wherabout. He immediately wants to know if she is safe and fine.
Akshara wakes up feeling unsettled and confused to find herself in her own room alone. When she see her phone ringing she is hesitant to talk to Abhimanyu… She realized that something happened the night before but what was it she does not remember. After multiple calls from Abhimanyu she hesitantly picks up her phone but is unable to speak. She wonders if he remembers any part of the night. The silence pregnant with unsaid words and tension is almost like physical pain for both of them. Abhimanyu has the urgency to see Akshara, so all he could say to her was, 'come to the Hospital ASAP'. And that is what she does. Hurriedly she gets dressed and reaches Abhimanyu’s office where he is impatiently waiting for her.
So I expected that they remember something of what happened but all they apologize to each other is about drinking alcohol. Now many here would wonder why did they not know that they drank alcohol because many a times desi/ local alcohol does not smell like commercial alcohol. Alcohol made from rice, tamarind, raw veggies and fruits are more like fruit punch. You may find the taste odd but you may also like it, and without knowing, you may end up drinking a spiked concoction usually called DESI. Such drinks also streams the blood much faster than the commercial alcohols which have controlled spirit content. With DESIDARU each batch of the drink would have varied level and that makes it even more risky. And since they did not eat anything it affects their senses faster.
The above explanation is for the trolls who are wondering why Abhimanyu could not understand the difference. He could smell on the person because he understands the behavior of a drunk man but he does not understand alcohol difference because he never drank. His uncle and father open champagne but Abhimanyu is influenced by his mother. And a way to showcase the character of this man.
We are gradually finding layers of this man. A man who loves his mother, respects woman and falls hard for one girl so suddenly has to be made of a unique metal. And so we need to watch out for the cues and signs of what makes both of them click together.
This next exchange of words reveal more of the estranged lovers-
Both of them remember nothing that happened since they sipped on the drink. And how they reach their own house and beds is a puzzle for both of them.
- Instead of talking to their family members the first person they seek to talk to is each other.
- Akshara has the opportunity to talk to Kv but she refuses. Abhimanyu is stopped by his parents but he does not even wait to give them a proper reply.
- Gradually their worlds are shifting and skewing towards each other.
- But before any of this is possible they have to understand each others rhythm.
Abhimanyu is a man who does not let go of things easily. He has a habit to fight for the right. He is a brooder, a thinker, a go getter.
Akshara is a girl who does not like to hold on to emotions and things that bother her. She has learnt to pretend all is well and smile. She is seen as a bubbly one who makes other happy and sings beautiful songs.
hence their responses are different-
- Ak thinks maybe nothing of importance happened that is why we don’t remember.
- Abhimanyu is not able to dismiss the missing time period that easily especially since he has a deep gash on his finger which as a doctor he knows is from a sharp metal.
He insists Ak to try to recall about the drunken night which only irritates Ak because her tactic to stress is ignore and smile.
She is a girl who has a habit to tuck everything that bothers her under the carpet. It's easier to forget and smile. Show the world that nothing affects her she is the happy girl for whom all is well.
Her response to Abhimanyu is a give away-
Zyadaa zor lagaungi to dimaag phat jaayega mera.
Is that how anyone normal would respond? She was with Abhimanyu alone at night and when she woke up she was in her own bedroom. Shouldn’t she be looking for answers from her family, from Abhimanyu or think about how much time is missing from her memory. And what may have happened in that lost duration?
Instead she retorts back to Abhimanyu, instead of thinking about last night you better focus on your marriage.
This is the distort in their relationship that no one can solve but themselves.
Akshara is an escapist. She has suffered so long and relived the trauma so many times that its a chakravyu thats all around her and she has no idea how to find her way out.
No one has helped her and she never asked her help. This girl smiles and tries to make other people around her happy and comfortable so everything assumes that she is happy go lucky. People see her smile and forget to ask her how she is feeling.
When she was asked to leave and stay away from home she felt betrayed by the people she loved the most and reason was Aarohi.
So the solution that she found for herself is to keep Arohi happy so that she can have her family otherwise she will is alone. God has already snatched her parents and this is all that she has. She is holding tight to that one thing she is left with family.
So all she knows is that her life will be somewhat normal if Aarohi is happy. For that if she has to give away all her favorite things she is fine. Because at least she till has the family to call her own. Even if no one understands her but still she has grandparents to love and caress her forehead. So she picked the option of living in the present.
Kal kya hua jaane do,
Kal kya höga dekha jayega..
Aaj jo theek lag raha hai kar lete hai.
Aarohi ko jo pasand hai wohi karte hai..
Aarohi khush to ghar mein sab khush.
Mujhe apno ke paas rehna hai.. bas!
These are little Akshara’s focus in life.
And the new feeling that came along with Abhimanyu have been constantly pushed at the back of the mind. But as they say boond boond se ghadha bharta hai….
Soon she realizes Abhimanyu was not a passing phase. And he is not going anywhere. He was not an expensive piece of jewelry or scarf that she could give away to Arohi.
He is flesh and blood, intense and aggressive, he is forceful and temperamental, he is controlling and considerate. He is arrogant, obstinate and Akshara needs someone who refuses to back down, someone who forces her to open her eyes, and make her see the light at the end of the tunnel. Abhimanyu is the rock who will help her move away from her painful past.
On the other hand-
Abhi made a wrongful decision to marry her sister out of malice and revenge and now he is running short of time. He wants to revert back. And he is unable to find a way out of his chakravyu.
The one he thinks can help him get out of this is the one who is most hostile to his situation.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer is the game that Arohi is playing. She is being sweet to Akshara although she has some idea that Ak could be hurting. Constantly forcing Ak to participate and choose things for her is the privilege she has taken for granted.
Akshara’s behavior with Abhimanyu and with Arohi are completely in contrast. She lets Aarohi trample all over her, with Abhimanyu she is assertive.
It is this unsaid relationship that is making their bond stronger and weakening her attachment to aarohi.
But Abhimanyu is once again on the edge like he felt before- He is unpredictable in this present mood. He is brooding, he is hurting and he wants to share his pain with the person who inflicted this pain- Akshara.
During the ring selection at the Birla’s Akshara and Abhimanyu choose the same ring just like they weave same dreams.
Their dreams are getting more personal, more specific, more intense. Their dreams are about how happy, playful and carefree they are in each others company.
Their dreams are about making the other person their own and to belong to them completely.
But each time they crash land back into reality the pain grows more intense.
Abhimanyu is ready to make everything back to the way it should be between him and Akshara and to see her still deny him is creating havoc with his whole system.
In his madness he is unable to see how he is behaving in front of his family or with AK.
Both of them are on Auto mode but both have a different way to handle themselves.
One never learnt to let go and he fights with more agression for what is rightfully his and one has only learnt to let go to the level of numbness.
Both of them are in this downwards spiral due to their own stubbornness and self enforced restrictions that are in this situation.
They need an outside interference, because Akshara needs that jolt.
There are many people who can help them and who know about their perils yet none have come forward to help.
Kv, Manjari, Mahima, Neil each one has concrete proof with them that something very crucial is between the two but no one is stepping forward to make them sit and see the light.
Bohot Dard diya hain tumne, thoda sa thumhe bhi ho!
The Yrkkh till now is becoming Dard ka rishta.
Dear fellow readers,

My editing have not been up to the mark but I wanted to bring myself to the current episode so that you can enjoy the analysis and episodes better. after I post till the current episodes I will be visiting last few epis for grammar checks and proper editing.
So please do share your opinion and views. esp. if you are asking me to tag you. since you know can only tag so many in one go. wording on a group messaging system but that works only of you are on my friendlist.
What I mean is that your words and thoughts are important coz they encourages and helps me to work on the story and we all can understand it together. 😊
Thank you.
The way you’ve captured the hearts and souls of these characters is absolutely magical to me! Thank you for putting into words how I feel about them because the amount of bashing the characters are receiving drives me crazy. Yes they’ve both made some debatable decisions and some just very bad ones but in the end they are just 2 people who are in terrible pain and are doing the best they can despite years of trauma and lack of family support💔
