A man who has lived away from his own country will obviously feel his home country is great or slowly realise affinity or longing for homeland.

There is a reason why NRIs are bigger bhakts than Indians living in India.

IDK why people hate on patriotic films or films that focus on resolving some issue.

Lighting a bulb means a lot in villages where there is no electricity.

Swades is rooted in reality. It is not a flashy or shallow film like typical Farah or K Jo flicks.

Some films are to pass time. Some films make a viewer think, reflect. Swades is latter.
