I also found this scene interesting. I know there has been discussion around who’s looking at who, the four corners, the placement of each character but what’s significant to me as that in this moment the only two characters they’re focusing on are Aryan and Imlie.

I didn’t pay as much attention to this scene at the first time but have been trying to find a more complete clip.

I guess she was looking at AKT n he was looking at her.. N i could not read Aru's expression .. Don't know it was more like concern or love or pain.. But i don't know he just looked so vulnerable at this moment.. Kinddaa he felt her pain deeply n helpless watching her like this..

Kidda gives the feel that "M all here for you just don't loose it in front of AKT pleading.. "

Exactly, ye pyaar ke naam pe taqleef sehna is such a masochistic depiction of love. This cannot be love. How can your pain prove your love? I mean to date I don't remember an instance where anything Aditya has done has soothed Imlie's pain. She has borne mostly everything and Aditya's stance has been you just focus on us, and ignore the rest. How can you ignore the people who are either causing a problem in your relationship or ill-treating your wife? Its always been focused on me and let others go to hell. Like yes, a pigeon closing his eyes will save him from the cat.

I mean when has the focus been on Imlie's pain or love??

The way that it’s edited though, how the focus goes back and forth between Aryan and Imlie, does make it seem like they’re looking at each other. The fact that they took Aditya out completely speaks, in my opinion, to how he’s not part of this story anymore (the love story, Imlie’s future, etc.).
