Rajkummar Rao is the most over-rated actor of the last 200 years.

Mega stardom requires some qualities which these people lack. Not only acting, star persona, charisma is important. This kartic Aryan guy lacks everything. People will never shed money to watch Rajkumar or nawajuddin etc in multiplex.

Mega stardom era over with the khans. I don't think any of these people are anywhere close to the khans. Not even Ranbir ( Rahul Gandhi of bollywood), Ranveer (couldn't save 83 when cricket is considered religion in India), and 🐅, I can't say much about him,as I haven't seen his movies other than Flying Jatt.

Ranbir is still more successful than Rahul. Only Abhishek Bachchan deserves title of Rahul Gandhi of Bollywood with those endless apologia for his failures and hopes he will make it someday.

SRK doesn't have "mega stardom anymore", this isn't the 90s or 2000s. All of his movies in the past 7 years have flopped

Ya..may be... but I think Abhishek Bachchan never touted as next big thing. Always got compared with AB senior and got bashed left, right,center. Whereas Ranbir, since day 1 projected as future superstar, next big thing etc etc and this still going on. The next big thing going on since 15 years or so. That's why I compared him with Rahul Gandhi.

Naah. In 2004-2007 Abhishek was being touted as next big thing or worthy heir to Amitabh. Hindustan Times even gave him a cover story in their weekend paper and claimed he was the sexiest man, most desirable bachelor in 2006 and mocked Hrithik in comparison to Abhishek.

Everyone kept giving examples of his dad who had almost a dozen flops before he hit it huge with Zanjeer. So they kept giving him more chances, published optimistic articles claiming he may be a slow starter like his dad but he is lambi race ka ghoda, dark horse blah blah.

When Guru succeeded they claimed it was his Zanjeer moment and he will have no looking back after this, he will be big star.

They kept hyping him as some king in waiting or new Prince of Bollywood. Just like Rahul has been hyped as future PM for 2 decades now.😁

This Abhishek 'is next superstar, potential legend' propaganda stopped only after abysmal performance od Khelein hum jee jaan se.

There's absolutely no star kid who got as much hype as Abhishek or as many chances, sympathetic press as he did.

I don't think Aamir Khan can be called a megastar like Salman Khan and SRK. They are a league ahead, on another level only. He is a star though, for sure.

League ahead stars are still trying hard to catch up with records of Aamir Khan's PK, 3 Idiots, Dangal, Dhoom 3. 😂🤣

And are definitely never going to give an Oscar nominated hit all life which is also produced by them.

The hurt is real. Hence degrading Aamir's script sense, stardom as a coping mechanism. 😂🤣

One of these 'another level' stars took several years to even beat Ghajini. 3 Idiots, Dangal, PK, D3 toh door ki baat hai. 🤣
