Here are the full prompts.

Prompt 1:

Paragraph prompt:

The wind was peaceful and sweet. Or maybe it was her voice that was sweeter. He felt himself go weak in the knees as the mellifluous tones of the song she was singing wafted over him with the softness of the breeze, the strains of the guitar she was playing strumming his heartstrings, resonating deep within his soul.

Flakes of snow fell on her hair, adorning them like diamonds. He couldn't move an inch from where he stood, mesmerized, even when the street was crowded with shoppers.

Oh my gosh! How had he not realized it was her? She looked so different now! Her hair had grown longer. She looked slender, more ladylike as opposed to the girl he had known all those years ago. As if on cue, she opened her eyes and locked with his, and his heart skipped a beat.

Prompt 2:

Prompt Skeleton:

A character loses their loved one (s) and the present festive season reminds them of the one(s) they have lost and they think of the last festival/celebration they had together

Prompt 3:

#bridget jones from Delicate Orchid

Song: Love is all around by The Troggs/Wet Wet Wet

Song Lyrics

Prompt 4:

String of words: Climb, cupcakes, rise, bhaang, forget, happiness, odd, nineteen, sunlight, charming, open, history, rare, blown, eat, beautiful

Prompt 5:

Dialogue: “I am in love with you. I apologize for the blunt delivery, but as problematic as this fact may be, I am in love. With you. And I'm not feeling this because you're leaving, and not because it feels good to feel this way - which by the way, it does. I can't figure out the mathematics of this, I just know I love you. Can't believe how many times I'm saying it. I finally know what I want, and that in itself is a miracle. And what I want is you.”

“I wasn't expecting 'I Love You'. Can you not look at me like that? I'm trying to find the right thing to say.”

Since you're scoring for grammar, I'll just point out three mistakes in this prompt:

1. For the singular noun "hair" - referring to the total of individual hairs on someone's head, the correct pronoun is "it" - not "them." English is different from Hindi.

2. The verb "was" has no object, so it should be followed by the subject pronoun "she" - not the object pronoun "her." "How had he not realized that it was she?" would be correct grammar.

3. A comma is needed between "more ladylike" and "as opposed to."

Thanks for sharing all of the prompts. I'm glad that I didn't have to work a paragraph or dialogue or a song into my story. I had enough trouble putting "cupcakes" in my story.

How had he not rwalized that it was she? does not make any sense. That's not an English sentence my friend.

It may not be the language that you speak as vernacular English, but it is grammatically correct English. You can look it up with a source that you trust more than (you trust) me, or with a source that is more trustworthy than I (am).

Here are a few parallels.

"Who was she?" is correct; "Who was her?" is incorrect.

"How had he not realized who she was?" is correct; "How had he not realized who her was?" is incorrect.

"How had he not realized that it was I?" is correct; "How had he not realized that it was me?" is incorrect.

@bold: While that may be true, your use of the subject pronoun in this case defeats purpose as the subject pronoun is meant to replace the noun performing the action, hence the use of 'he', so therefore the original phrase correct as the "her" in this case is receiving the action so you need the object pronoun.
