Sharmilla said he was very supportive about the bikini cover photo shoot she did in 1966 when she was receiving a lot of backlash. Evening In Paris (1967) was a far more demure one piece.

Pataudis are actually more open minded and less restrictive than the Kapoors. None of the Kapoor women barring Kareena and Karisma worked in movies because they were prohibited from doing so. Babita and Neetu stopped after marriage and it's only in later years that Neetu Singh returned back to the big screen.

Kangana likes Kareena and Saif because they gives her attention. That's what she wants from everyone. Saif is pretty charming and likable in person and I think he was nice to her when filming Rangoon. In contrast, Shahid and Kangu couldn't stand each other. Kareena also invited her to parties and events. Then later Kareena supported her openly when she was fighting with Hrithik.

I think Kareena is her idol. She wants to be exactly like that. She wishes she was a star kid like Kareena, loud and moophat, but still loved by everyone in the industry. She also has the respected star-kid husband and kids. And she's older than her so she isn't really threatened by her.

She hates Alia for the same reason she loves Kareena. She can't handle it that Alia is the star kid everyone loves, also dating a star kid, and respected for her work. Her jealousy knows no bounds.

I'm not surprised. Kangana and Saif/Kareena have had a very cordial, almost friendly relationship ever since she worked with Saif on that movie. It's a bit strange, but over the years Kangana has spared them of any of her bad talk. They've also never spoken bad about Kangana either, despite tons of celebs in the industry doing so. Maybe Saif and Kareena were some of the few people who treated her well. Whatever it is, I'm not surprised to see her commenting on Kareena's insta given all the above.

I guess grouping her with "dumb nepo kids" with undeserved success who made Bollywood into Bullywood who maligned and murdered SSR as well as not wishing her well on her Birthday (and not getting Hrithik to marry her) is benign and cordial for Kangana

Kangana asking Kareena why Hrithik wouldn't marry her is just too funny.

How should Kareena respond to that? "He didn't marry me either"?

That's basically my thought on why Kangana is friendly to Kareena. It has something to do with HR.
