In 2000s also they had top grossers like K3G, Lagaan, DCH, TZP, RDB, Ghajini, Wanted, RNBDJ, OSO, CDI, Fanaa, Maine Pyar kyu kiya, Devdas, Tere naam, 3 Idiots, KANK etc.

Even a flop film like Mangal Pandey the Rising broke all opening records and became biggest first week collection of all times. Its record was broken only by Fanaa next year in 2006.

Here in USA though, it’s running with full houses. I just watched it the second time yesterday with a friend where we managed to get only the third row corner seats (arghh!!!!) and relived the exact same experience we had the first time- the cheering, the hooting, the claps and the whole plethora of emotions.

Yes, my friends, their folx everyone around me who went,loved it. Mostly older ppl.

But the trade news is so easily accessible nowadays that ppl who want to watch, think it's tanking and hence don't go.

IDK why some people hate Ranveer so much?
