Matlab hadd hain yaar. Not only are you forcing your sister to back off and sacrifice her happiness, you are also giving medical files of his mum to Abhi and lying to get him to marry you. I think people are forgetting that Abhi only agreed after the fire thing and for his mum. Arohi has clearly deceived him and such marriages are always void.

I’d actually be ok if the infidelity was part of the plot in a mature way. Many Hollywood shows and movies have made a good story out of this, even some Bollywood movies.

It’s this holier-than-thou “they’re in love so it’s ok they can’t stay away from each other” attitude in the show that’s distasteful.

Heck why even involve alcohol and convenient amnesia - let Abhi and Akshu get their freak on in full consciousness and then see their families rush to get them married as quick as possible. Checkmate!

He told her family that this was an arranged marriage where companionship and support is more important than love. He is definitely not behaving with Tameez to anyone, leave alone acting companionably or politely to the woman he asked to marry.

I’ve brought this up before but he only stipulated he can’t give Arohi any love. A marriage is more than a wedding. Even people in arranged marriages share a room, a bed, finances, emotional support and fidelity to each other right? He didn’t say he won’t give her the basic rights of marriage. So that’s the unspoken expectation here from everyone in both families including Arohi. Does Abhimanyu really think his mother is going to be happy with just a wedding and not demand pota/poti?

Abhimanyu is a surgeon - he must have some brains and maturity and hopefully integrity too. Arohi did not actively manipulate him yet - he jumped to all the wrong conclusions himself while she kept strategically silent and then he made the dumb impulsive decision to marry the sister of the girl he loves instead of literally any other woman on earth. And he’s just making things worse instead of behaving sensibly and talking to his dimwit mother to explain the situation to her (remember all his former cozy confiding chats with her - what happened there?). God help his patients if this is how he thinks under pressure in the OT!
He keeps saying he cant help canoodling with Akshara, after all it’s not like he’s breaking the Hippocratic oath. He is a total hypocrite and his actions are disgusting. The fact he and Akshara are in love does not justify them - in the eyes of several of us anyway, I’m done debating with those who feel differently at this point.

Every man committing infidelity uses two excuses- he’s in love and/or his current partner has some deficiencies. Abhimanyu is acting like this without any idea of Arohi’s dark side - thats a stain on HIS moral character, regardless of the stains on hers. The exact same track played out with Kartik and Naira where they justified an EMA by demonizing Vedika into a crazy person. So its a standard play by DKP - this is just awful regressive unimaginative writing by them. But showing illicit romance between prospective jija/Saali is B-movie level nauseating to watch for me 🤢

So if touching and hugging is not cheating, would you be ok with your significant other behaving this way with another woman for whom he/she has romantic feelings? I know I wouldn’t.

I see it as provocation. Aesa nahi hain ki Abhi has suddenly woken up and thought hmm let me propose to Arohi. So many events have led up to this moment and most of them have been lies:

1) Arohi letting Abhi believe that she persuaded Akshara to give the witness testimony in the trial.

2) Arohi letting Abhi believe that she prayed for Manjri.

2) Arohi forcing Akshara to tell Kairav that she does not love Abhi.

3) Arohi giving Manjri's medical file to Abhi in order to coax him into thinking their marriage is the only option.

4) Arohi lying to Abhi about the fire incident.

Abhi is also a human, he isnt perfect. He has succumbed to pressure and it's only and only because he has been lied to constantly. Take all the lies and misunderstandings out, the outcome would be different. Just see who has lied the most, to me that is fraud.

If my boyfriend had feelings for someone else then they would not be my boyfriend.

Abhi has free will, he’s a grown man. And Arohi has not asked him even once to marry her. He asked her. She did a better job of acting professional around him than he has done.

You’re defining feelings for another person is infidelity (which I agree, it is emotional cheating). But you don’t think grabbing Akshu and following her around is cheating. So I guess we just have to agree to disagree.

Okay ek baar ko I agree with everyone ... Why is Akshara given a free pass?

All I hear is Abhimanyu cheating, I hear Manjiri called names like dummy and all (I totally get it the actress over do the emotional scenes and it gets irritating)... Heck, even Kairav is called names like what was he supposed to do? Go and tell Abhimanyu that Akshu loves him when she herself does not do that?

Let's get to Manjiri first (bado se shuruwat karte hai), she fell ill, she wanted Aarohi as her nahi because according to her, it will solve the problems she is having in her marriage and will make it better... Of course because Birlas are a fam of doctors and Aarohi is one. Akshara wants Abhimanyu and Aarohi to get married so that her relationship with Aarohi gets better. Where is the love for Abhimanyu?

Manjiri and Kairav are called names... I get it they are dumb but Manjiri can't call and ask for Akshara hand when the latter first refused to speak and then openly rejected her son. Now can she? Kairav was an idiot of a brother to send Akshu to Pune and cut off her contacts but once she came back he did not even once questioned. He even probed her to listen to her heart voice... What he can do now? He even tried to have a conversation with her but if Akshu remains to zip her mouth and never speaks, he can't do anything.

And lastly, I totally get the problem of jija-saali (honewale) problem but why only jija ji is called names? Does not Akshara have a hand in it? Nothing at all?

And many times I have seen, he needs proof to believe his 'true love'. Let's decide first, what do we want... Mythological show or realistic show? Because for god sake, that man was unconscious and was gotten out of life and death situation. Yet just when he wakes up his first question is where is Akshara and what did Aarohi said... Aarohi who also happens to be Akshara sister? She left. Nd the very same sister said to Akshara that Abhimanyu left. They believed. Why? Abhi because she was Akshara sister and when we left we tell to our family members. Akshara because Aarohi was with Abhimanyu. Yet, after every believe, he called Akshara and what did she said? She covered up her sister lie? How was that right? That is morally right?

Yet after that believe, he defended her in the park. Helped her with her panic attack and once going to give her the rose and what did he got in return? Rejection? What more he has to endure?

He loved his mother, he was ready to marry anyone, Aarohi was chosen as the prospective bride, his mother was happy, he accepted it. He was angry at Akshu but for that he accepted to marry anyone. Aarohi is the choice because first his sir chose it and it made his I'll mother happy.

If Akshara is sacrifice and the epitome of goodness and deserve better, why does Abhimanyu turned to be the cheater?
