This lines oddly reminds me of movie called "Me Without You." It's about two girls who are the best of friends and literally two pieces of the stick essentially "there is no 'me without you'". One is dependent and emotionally volatile while the other is reserved and thoughtful. A lot of things happen in the trajectory of their close friendship where the reserved one finally says "I need to make a 'me without you.'" It's almost a coming of age sensation when that character realizes that she doesn't need to suppress herself, her individuality for emotional stability of her friend. Like this, Mukku's spoken dependency on Anuj, Anuj's feelings of guilt and acquiescence makes me feel as if growth is needed between this brother and sister duo. As it is - life is a continuum of growth. Anuj needs to once again find himself in order to live life without reservations

you hit it on the nail. anupamaa has trauma. severe trauma from her past relationship. a lot of which has been glossed right over by people whose opnions she treats as a gospel. if this were real life the worst thing she could do right now would be to get into another serious relationship so quickly. i do like tho that they are showing how she is projecting onto anuj a bit...i think that makes it more realistic. she's so damaged that anuj can be perfect 9 times out of 10 but that 1 time is always gonna set them back. you can already see how doubtful she is. i want to see him enjoy this relationship and i hope she doesnt give him too hard of a time...
