Imlie and Aditya:

- What stood out to me in Narmada's words to Imlie is the part where she says marriage takes two. It reminded me why I this show has me hooked. We are seeing Imlie's struggle to reconcile her self-love, pain, cultural and religious values, the love and actions of her husband, and society's expectations. It's easy to walk out and say you'll never be back. But do you have what it takes to walk the walk?

- Oh how lost she looked after Aditya got done with her this time. She fell to the ground and got back up on her own. That scene.

Aryan and Imlie:

- Imlie running full force and Aryan stopping her. "Where are you going?" And then silently promising Aditya his karma, for his family and now for Imlie too ♥️. I liked how Aryan called out her weakness, and I also liked that he looked completely unshaken in his belief.

- Aryan's defence of Imlie in the office and that clip which I misunderstood 😂 was great. It was exactly the Aryan that we've been promised and I'm happy.

- Aparna said it right. People are drawn to Imlie because she is who she is. Aryan is no exception. If anything, he speaks to the power of her pull.

@bold1: He spoke just like a businessman speaks. And here we have another contrast. When Aditya and Imlie were caught in the aftermaths of that rainstorm, she was all alone defending herself and Aditya also, because they were hell-bent on killing him. Here, they again reversed that situation. With the spotlight on Imlie and Aryan, Aryan stood to defend her and answer the scrutiny she was subjected to by her colleagues. They are step by step altering the narrative by flipping the AdiLie equation on its back by cleansing it with AryLie, where Aryan is doing the complete opposite or doing what Aditya could have done.

@bold2: I agree. Imlie is always so open and welcoming and warm. She was the same with Arpita, whom she did not know at all. And as far as Aryan is concerned, he is drawn to Imlie's pain, because he associates it with the pain he is experiencing, and the cause for both is one - Aditya. Also, seeing what is transpiring between AdiLie is just reinforcing his existing poor perception of Aditya.

Agreed, the contrast between Aditya and Aryan is done so well. I also like though that Aryan isn't a complete foil to Aditya, he's his own person. And as far as Imlie is concerned fulfills emotional needs that Aditya can not.

I do think though that although Aryan was initially curious about Imlie because of Aditya, she's drawing Aryan in all on her own. Like her relationship with pain as you said, again so different to his relationship with pain. It does solidify his beliefs about Aditya but he also seems to forget about Aditya when he is around her.

As for his revenge, I wonder what form it will take if any. I have a feeling it will never come to pass because he'll grow out of the need to blame someone for his pain, and Aditya is doing well-enough of a job getting revenge on himself for Aryan.

He is not a complete foil to Aditya, and the way they are writing the scenes also, it could really appear that this guy is trying to manipulate Imlie for his revenge. But then, if you look from another aspect, Aditya hasn't really understood Imlie at all. She has been angry because of Malini, and he took it as her proximity with Aryan or moving on in life. I don't choose to blame Malini and Aryan, like others do, because at the end of the day Imlie has been faithful and fighting for this marriage for the longest time and she remains the same. It is Aditya who cannot see beyond himself and as he unravels so will this marriage.

Coming to the contrast, that has been deliberate. Cause they want to create this storyboard of "How it is?" vs "How it should be?" between Aditya and Aryan. And Aryan has been consistent in being there whenever Imlie needs him. The front-page article, the Bollywood exclusive, the office face-off with employees can be supposed games. But, bringing her home when she was unwell, saving her from thadki laundas, teaching her how to use chopsticks or teaching her how to drive, pushing her to be strong once, and allowing her to cry in peace, cannot be games. And that is a fact, no matter how much the bhakts rant about Aryan.

Imlie ki loyalty uski strength hai. Tas se mas nahi hoti uski loyalty. Lekin ab ye uski kamzori ban gayi hai. Look at Aditya man, the way he has behaved. And how her badki kaaki was on an on about Imlie should have been careful and not lived in Aryan's house and should not have sent divorce papers. Seriously??? Saari responsibility sirf uss ladki ki hai, and Aditya sirf angutha chusne wala bachcha hai. Auntyji do do shaadi karke gulaatiyan maar raha hai launda aapka do auraton ke beech. Woh aapko nahi dikhta. Imlie believed, and she really did, that Aditya trusts her to the moon. And he is just acting out like that because she does not want to come home while Malini stays. She did not once think that Aditya has this impression about her.

Please Imlie, jaag ja. Aditya ka waqt nahi aaya hai abhi tak. Tu to jaag ja.

Bold: EXACTLY!!!!!

Imlie needs to wake up and see Adi for who he is... if things keep going this way I might just become team Aryan and say that Aryan deserves better than Imlie.

Just watched the episode, going to briefly say what I liked.

1. I loved how Imlie remembered Aryan's words as a motivator. Yes she might have been motivated for the wrong thing but it goes to show that she not only listens to but also values his words.

2. Imlie fell and got up on her own. As much as I hate that she placed her self respect aside to go back to Adi, when he shut the door on her face and she fell. She got up on her own. She is learning that he is the reason she is falling and that she has to get up on her own. This was taught to her by Aryan.

3. While Aryan stood up, because his name was also dragged into this mess and warned them not harass Imlie again I love that there was no follow up mushy scene where he asked Imlie in front of everyone if she was ok. The progress is still slow and that is the beauty.

4. The precap was 🤣 Adi has a cut and his clothes are torn. Plus the divorce paper is signed. So I am curious but also looking forward to this.

Every love story needs some resistance, some opposition.

I think Imlie clinging to her regressive belief - that marriage happens only once and one should love their husband despite all their shortcomings - can be that element in Arylie story. Aryan has been introduced as a grey character (no fully white character can come with a motive of revenge). But there has been enough symbolism to indicate future Arylie. Unless Gul is trolling her past shows 🤣 😂

After publishing obituary and maligning her character Aditya has moved to irredeemable zone for me ( he already was halfway there for being so passive about his relationship) but then not sure what the future holds. And what's with his language? Seriously who uses words like kalikh, bund kamra except vamps, tv show MILs and gossiping aunties.
