I stepped into this knowing that Arylie won;t be endgame... but does that stop me from hoping? No. The scenes in the show (foreshadowing and symbols), the news of Gash getting other offers and now this… can it be true? Can Arylie really be endgame?

See, let's just see from a neutral perspective. Aryan and Imlie do not see each other in their future. And both have their own baggage to bear. Imlie is at the cusp of a breakup, with Aditya spiralling and unraveling the relationship whose core is rotten because of the toxic pattern it has generated post the coerced marriage.

Aryan who has seen his family unravel before his eyes carries a burden of not being their for the people he cares for at the right moment and so his speed in life along with his car accelerated with time. And that is what applies in his interactions with Imlie. Aryan's primary concern after his family is I will not let anything happen to this girl and definitely not because of Aditya Kumar Tripathi. He sees another Arvind in Imlie. Which is why he is so hard on her sometimes.

Aryan motivates her to remain strong, cause he knows the way Aditya is going, his behavior will get only worse, and it will push her to her breaking point. Aditya has literally pushed Imlie to the wall. So any given day Imlie has to push back.

Halla karna Aditya ka kaam hai. When a tree is growing there is no sound, but when a tree falls, it makes maximum noise. Aditya is the falling tree and Imlie is the growing bud.
