Tbh they seem the most realistic and grounded

They have been married for more than 10 years now they are past that “lovey dovey” phase …that dosent mean they don’t like each other …they have just matured and are less about the spectacle of marriage and more about the responsibilities that come with marriage

What happened to them? Life , Life happened to them. Kids happened to them. There is no lovey dovey PDA all the time once kids come in the picture, most people priorities changed immensely. Maturity come, it doesn’t mean there is no love. It’s just different phase of life and love is different.

And also there is no hum saath saath hai reality, the fact is Bachchans have a daughter whom they love and Aish can never take her place. Aish has parents whom she loves , Bachchans can never take their place. Once Indians stop expecting barjatya realities in their family life , they will stop getting disappointed.

People want to hang out with and live life the way they want, everyone doesn’t have to hang out together all the times to be a family. As long as there is mutual love and respect, it’s all good.

Does Shweta live with Bachchan elders? I thought she lives separately.

Anyway I do not think Ash has time to watch KBC. She is busier than Shweta for sure. You think she has time to sit at home and watch KBC with Jaya, Shweta and kids?

Honestly it does not matter if Shweta names Ash or not. Daughter and DIL can never take each other's place and often do not speak comfortably or casually about each other.

I do not think Ash's mom Vrinda is as close to her DIL Shrima Rai as close she is to Ash. Neither are Ash and her sister in law Shrima some besties.

Daughter in law can never take place of daughter in terms of a close bond and vice versa. Daughter and DIL have their own place.

There is nothing wrong if parents feel a closer or easy natural bond with daughter. Or worry more about her after marriage or if her marriage is on the rocks (if rumours are true). That does not necessarily mean they are biased against DIL. Neither does DIL bonding more with her parents/natal family indicate any bad blood with her in laws.
