What happened to Aish-Abhi?

Agree! Swetha doesn’t seem too fond of her . She completely ignores her “husband” and Ash.

Maybe it's because they are a family since a long time and now everyone knows the Bachchan family members so they don't feel the need to publicly display it. It's fine. Bachchan family has always been secretive. Shweta likes her or not was always a question but I think every indian family has some tiffs between the members.

But they are managing everything so well.

My only one pov is why is Aish not working? I mean Aradhaya is all grown up and I would like to witness Aish on-screen soon.

She is doing a tamil movie n a few days back it was reported that she is doing a hundi movie too.

They look like a happy couple to me. They respect and support each other. They raise their child together. Just because they're not over the top with the couple thing like Deepika and Ranveer it doesnt mean they don't like each other. I don't know about insta pics but I'm sure Shweta is glad tht it wasn't Karishma or Kareena in Aish's place as Abhishek's bride.

To be honest I think they are one of the most realistic couples.

They were going gaga over each other in the beginning and full on pr.

After Aaradhya their focus was completely on their daughter and being supportive of each other.

You can see Abhishek being a supportive partner to Ash's family and similar Ash is too.

I don't think Shweta and Ash are best friends they are more cordial towards each other which happens in recent times.

Recently Shweta and her children are more with the Bachchans as her son is getting into the industry and her daughter gets all pr for her business ventures.

Similarly you can see Ash supporting her mother more especially after her dad's death. It is refreshing to see a couple being supportive of each other without all the mush.

Like Abhishek mentioned they are extremely good friends who support and have great communication that is a healthy marriage

They have been married for so many years now. They are a mature couple. There is no need for them to do PR like young Bolly couples. They have families to support, a growing child to raise and ageing elders to take care of.

Senior Bachchans currently seem more focused on helping Shweta get some business or second career or some limelight and promote her kids.

They do not want to look like they are living off Aishwarya's fame it seems.

After her father's death Aishwarya seems to have become less interested in showbiz or limelight and seems more keen to spend time with her family, her mother particularly, which is fine. She has right to grieve and take time to heal.

I do not think mature couples always go around doing magazine covers or posting selfies together or posting their banter on social media. Abhishek and Ash are past that age. They seem to be doing fine and spend time with each other's families, mind their own business.

What else they need?

Most middle aged couples who do excessive PDA are faking it. Aamir and Kiran are an example. They'd kiss in public or kiss each other in magazine cover pics and behave like some ideal couple but are divorced now.

Real life understanding matters more than creating lovey dovey or ideal couple perception in public.

Kahani ghar ghar ki.whether its queen Elizabeth or bacchan family or ham jaise aam logo ki.

Every family has issues.

They seem like a normal couple.

I don't think Shweta and Aishwarya are close but that is not uncommon in a family.

Bizarre over the top antics and posting lovey-dovey messages on social media like Deepika and Ranveer does not mean a couple is more in love than others.

I find some of my FB friends constantly going gaga over their husband/wife and posting couple pics extremely annoying and fake. It's all good in the beginning but the novelty wears off pretty quickly. Imagine how it would look if Abhishek and Ash were still all over each other in public even today? That's not only cringeworthy but also unreal cuz honeymoon phase never lasts even if you max it out to the longest time possible!

Whoever makes a concerted effort to look "in love" in public even after years should be the ones who should actually be called out.
