Let's assume for the kid's sake she went back- a father /husband unhinged enough to hit his wife/mother of child, is it safe to return? Like what kind of logic is that ki bache k khatir wapas aye when there is a chance one day this dad will hit his kid as well.

The woman have bruises all over her body as a proof of beating. Can't she file a report (assuming the husband is don or someone influential) and her new friends will 200% back her up, is it not possible?

Now that she has returned to that hell hole, the beating continue. For some reason a cctv footage is necessary for revealing the abuser ... Err why? Why can't an anonymous call to police be arranged, at least give the wife a chance to do something.

If the dad never found the lady and kid and filed a police report for them being missing couldn't the lady revealed the truth that time, thus putting an end to it?
