Biases about women and relationships. This man wasn't in a "successful" relationship wth a woman like Malini for no reason. Even now he is very outwardly dismissive of her, but remembers everything she says and takes her words very seriously. Is this the space for a woman in his life? I'm just speculating ofcourse. But in this current track I do see a man that behaves very strangely with women. Or just shitty writing šŸ˜‚

Exhausted is a better word for Imlie maybe. I haven't seen enough of her and Aditya to know what they were like together. But it's like, you just feel empty right? She's had enough. She is showing up for herself. I do see growing misery in her now for sure. At first it seemed like the pain of separation but more and more I think it's his words.

I don't know what scene Aditya sees to make the man show up with signed papers. It will ofcourse be ridiculous, but I can't help but speculate.

The way Aditya has managed to open up to Imlie, he hasn't been able to do with anyone. He is one complicated character. Kuch to dekha hoga. Bande ka dimaag waise hi kharab, aur raita phailane chale aaye signed papers ke saath. Did he just assume again that Imlie wants to leave him or Malini played her part well this time too, let's see what it is about

After this, I don't want Imlie to cry for anything or anybody. Please, enough of her crying writers.

Anyway, coming to the episode,

Aryan's revenge doesn't look much like revenge, does it? I mean thanda nahi lagta uska revenge compared to Aditya being his own worst enemy. His tunnel vision, his cluelessness, and his pride are his own enemies. The day he deleted proof of his own innocence, uske "sachchai ki awaaz" wale persona me ek bada sa dent lag gaya. After that, Imlie chose to stand by him is shocking. Should have slapped him right across his face and walked out, but she still tried to make him see, what she was being able to see. Characters can be flawed, but his character is....I am just short of words here. I have seen Imlie at least trying to learn, and if she doesn't then life teaches her, like, the innumerable insults she has borne for her errors. But Aditya, he just oscillates. Pehle, he was all about saying the truth and accepting the AdiLie relation to move in a direction. When Imlie came to terms with that and placed her faith in this that let's do this, Aditya just deviated by deleting proof and going against the very "truth" he wanted to stand for. I mean how can you live with a man who doesn't stick to what he says. He always changes.

I enjoy Aryan and Aditya's back and forth as well, cause they are like equals. Aditya is predictable, but Imlie is unpredictable and a bundle of surprises. So she kind of stumps Aryan, who doesn't respond to her, when she gives him a jabra-tod response. Strangely, they don't share a romantic equation, and none of their scenes have any romantic angle either, but their interactions are a fun watch. And there has been a lot of foreshadowing for this equation, with Ganeshji witnessing Aryan protecting Imlie's honor, or they both bringing light in each other's life or she walking in beside him and her footprints in red (which was very silly for a party frankly). Let's see how it goes from here. I am still unsure, but let's see.

at teal: šŸ‘ Aryan's revenge doesn't seem much like one. It almost feels as if his interest in figuring out the unpolished stone that is Imlie has garnered more interest compared to "haath doh kar" going after Adi. Instead, it seems as if Aryan will allow Adi to fall to the wayside by his own machinations. It's kinda of startling that to beat a dead horse (Malini's vampness) they distilled and dragged Adi's character. Instead of being a firm character with a viewpoint and personality; he's highly unstable and undecisive. I secretly was rooting for Pari at some point because I felt AdiLie was too messy and the balances unfairly skewed against imlie.

at bold: D E A D 🤣 I thought I was the only one that felt it was oddly placed symbolism bc I don't quite see a romantic angle but a something of a solid friendship. In the end, these things are done to tease and appease all the different fans šŸ˜†

Honestly, if someone asks me, it will be some stupid OTT reaction to a very simple situation that will be convoluted in an already messed up mind of Aditya. And Aditya's crying is just annoying. What he thinks is not what is happening, which makes this victim playing all the more unnecessary and ridiculous.

Imlie should just sign the goddamn papers. Enough of this crying for this guy man. Aditya can't handle his own pain and Imlie is his favourite punching bag to release this pain. I don't think after this Imlie will try anything further. She will be in too much pain to do anything further to salvage this macabre of a relation. Her life needs a reboot.

I honestly feel the Imlie we were introduced to in the beginning has been lost over the course of the show. I'm not talking about her personality and all that - she's still happy-go-lucky and tries her best at everything BUT the ray of insurmountable potential seems to have been snuffed a bit. It's like she has to fight to just get a bit of recognition or achievement. It's been an uphill battle for her for even the most simple of things. I didn't quite appreciate this thought until someone posted a yt vid of Sumbul's bday which had a really nicely summarized depiction of Imlie's journey. It was blatantly obvious that Imlie had changed by the weight of all the drama and emotional trauma.

It is quite obvious. At 19, she was compelled into a marriage to save Aditya, and since then life has gone downhill. Her attention was to safeguard Aditya, protect his life and hide the truth. She has been firefighting for him since the longest time that it has become a reflex reaction. Uske beech me sapne, padai, life sab dab gaya tha. But, I truly believe it's time to revive that Imlie. It's time to revive those dreams which she lost in her quest to be a saviour. As she rightly told Aditya, she is her own responsibility, so its time to fulfill duties for herself.

He is probably here to stay, and audiences are liking him as Aryan Singh Rathore. Ofcourse, both AryLie and AdiLie are carrots for respective fandoms, but isn't there a saying, "Love does not hit you at your best, it comes to you when you are in a mess". Both Aryan and Imlie are not looking for love, but it is supposed to hit them for sure. So, let's see how it goes. I know there is a high majority of me being wrong, but I cannot ignore certain symbolism and contrasts that have been drawn till now.

so well said! I'm trying not to get too excited with the potential that is Aryan within this show. (& yes, he's a better challenge to Adi compared to Pari. bechara Pari 🤣)

I want the AdiLie chapter, as it is now, to close because who knows at this point who is married to whom, who is wafadar to whom etc etc. šŸ˜† but as Charishma said, you have a lovely way of directly expressing full thoughts.

Thanks Moksha. I am also keeping my excitement in check, since we know how writers can ruin things.

The AdiLie equation is dead for me. If they want to revive it, it needs better writing to repair it and character strength needs focus too. Apart from that, my instinct tells me this story is gradually shifting towards AryLie. Might I add, this show is about 4 leads now it seems.

šŸ˜† some show's have secondary leads making themselves primary through their interviews and social media posts. it's fine if these promotions are in good-nature but there's a lot of self-importance instead. It's odd bc I favorably see second leads and don't feel their impact as a role is any less.

the confusing multi-lead status seems to be a trend nowadays

if we should see Aryan as another lead. I do not feel he will join hands with Malini. I think he will feel as if he is good enough, by himself, to get what he needs done. On a side note, I was hoping the superstar would have a slightly longer course in the show (especially with the way her news was being promoted).

Hey, guys! Just like a lot of AryLie fans, I also started watching Imlie after ASR's entry. Loving their equation so far. Haven't watched the show before that so my knowledge about AdiLie is very limited, just some clips that I've watched here and there through the last year. This thread has now become a chilling spot for me šŸ˜† when I find a few free moments during the day. Tried going through threads in the main forum but feels like war zone, more often than naught 🤣 because Adi can do no wrong and Aryan is the worst creature to ever walk ImlieLand. 🤣It's sad when people can't objectively analyze and appreciate characters for what they are without making things personal. This thread feels like a breath of fresh air in comparison.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thank the wonderful folks here who share such amazing insights on the episodes. Shoutout to Libran90 who's posts are always amazing. I recall reading your insights in the MHRW forum as well, at least till I discontinued watching. 😳

MHRW was quite entertaining until they just used RaghVi scenes thinking it’ll create an alternative reality where viewers won’t question the bs track plots. They really lost people around a little after the chickenpox track. Mandar was introduced and after a week of that horrid screenplay, everyone was so strung out. Esha & poorly executed EMA trick was the nail in the coffin :/

I remember IPKKND days (I don’t think I know Gul's other works) so I feel like she’ll utilize her prototypical male character (ASR types) to her show’s advantage. Sikand seems like he plays the short game and let’s the plot burn to ashes
