Hope what Asr said today is reflected tomorrow and he will shoo away that Malini as he doesn't require anyone's help to take revenge!

So it's decided right? Aditya will choose Malini and her father's money.

And Aryan looks ready to body slam Malini across the room. I am not promoting violence, just saying, he looks like he wants to hit something, or wave some sort of killing curse her way.

And last but not least, most importantly - that scene. You know which one. I am dead. It killed me dead. Everything about it. I mean, I'm sure they got married at some point during it right? And that voice. Okay, I am going to continue being dead now.

my brother thought he wouldn't extend his hand based off of the flashback scenes of AryLie they played ... but I think now he sees her as someone worth his attention. Someone of mettle worth going head-to-head with.

Not that she wasn't before BUT he wasn't softened towards her then (he'll still deny caring... but we all know he cares; at least on a human level).

Not seen. Have only seen one scene of satyakam with Imlie where in he tells her to move on not be with people who don't respect or trust her. It was quite an impact ful scene for me to understand how much Imlie values her dadda and u have already told Aryan might play same role in her life.i believe I saw a pic on twitter with Imlie shot in red saree

@first bold - I honestly really like how the unspoken aspects of their scenes are playing out. He expresses so well and now that Sumbul & Fahmaan have gotten more acquainted with one another, they are playing off of each other well. They can kind of anticipate how the other will deliver a scene and go from there. It leads me to note that, by appreciating a different actor and a different pair's chemistry, doesn't mean that the other actors are lesser or insignificant. It doesn't need to be a "this or that" situation where fans of a show need to draw a black&white line in their support. Thus, I'm glad you mentioned that Aditya/Gash is doing the role he's been given well -- because Aditya is a representation of a person we may cross in life. By acting the way he has, he has garnered the viewer's attention and compelled us to discuss his actions. Otherwise, it's been frustrating to read that an opposition to new entries or a character with level force as that the newer person is a "lesser actor" or a "toxic person." Fahmaan & Aryan have both been a refreshing inclusion (& expected entry: direct, rich, etc etc) to a story that honestly has dragged and gotten so convoluted & muddy.

@2nd bold, I totally agree! It's obvious that Adi doesn't really believe anything he's saying but he just wants to hurt Imlie. He's letting himself easily be swayed by any voice that allows him to feel miserable, regretful and sullen. I'm also annoyed by the tears he sheds -- he cries so well but in the scenes he's shown them, he just seems so willful and annoying. I feel like he's crying because he can't fathom the state of his situation && not because he's realized how truly difficult it's been for Imlie. All the "difficult" things she's stated, and the reasons why viewers wanted her to get a break from Tripathi circus, are legitimately overwhelming. There is one moment I can remember when I felt so uncomfortable and worried for Imlie, despite the creators desire to show true and overflowing new love, it was when AdiLie return from PD && he's chasing her throughout the middle of the night around the dining room and stuff despite her saying "no." She was worried about the trouble they'll get into & the lines they were crossing outside their safe zone of PD. At that point, I truly felt that everything should have been laid clear bc that subterfuge was just too dangerous. With AryLie, their interactions and relationship have been clear to see from the beginning so we're saved the unnecessary complication of "defining their relationship," which is why it's even more believable that Adi doesn't really believe in the sour taunts & statements he's making.

Agree with it all, so true. Lovely post! The first bold: totally true. And it's such a slow burn, his character and his revenge. t feels like a great place to start the show, a place of reboot.

Second bold: This. Totally this.

Third bold: I didn't watch that scene, and while I can imagine it felt exciting to watch, I see your point. When it's wrong, it's wrong. And that seems kind of messed up. It's too bad I didn't watch it the first time around because maybe I would've atleast understood the Aditya Imlie relationship a bit.

I was also thinking that it would take quite the scene for him to extend his hand. But he did it today, so fast. I'm still reeling from today's Arylie moments. But more than the physical closeness and 4 Lions style male/female "flirting", it was the moments of vulnerability that blew me away. So much information exchanged in such a brief time frame. They both got closer, that's for sure.

@ bold: I can’t find the scene video (creation AT has some siggies on page 19, if you want a gist) but it was absolutely exhilarating to watch how they showed Aditya succumbing to the more than platonic feelings he had for Imlie. More so there’s a scene where him and Imlie get stuck in a storm at PD & like the first time, change happens in their equation. Adi begins to bridge the gap of physical and emotional unavailability. Then they return and the overflow of love and freedom scenes occur. Adi so throughly in love. && yet, the looming clouds of doom always felt near to me, the viewer. The ill-defined relationship, the deceit, and the secrets just marred the beauty of their moment (which writers spent a max of 2-3 weeks on before Malini became dark grey). I couldn’t enjoy AdiLie playing holi bc while he bent over backwards for Imlie, or essentially became a different person with Imlie, he didn’t draw his own line in the sand. He had left that day reiterating to Malini that he wouldn’t allow anyone to put color on him, not even family, and yet he enjoys the holiday fully with Imlie. It was at these times where I wondered if Adi was made to be helpless or without direction. There were so many moments where he fell short and these women were dragged down with him. I dunno, it’s also highly odd that the writers have half-sisters married to the same man … so many cringe overlays that shadow something beautiful. Thankfully Aryan is a fresh entry with no strings attached to anyone but Adi 😆
